As an employer, finding a job board that allowed me to focus my posting to the Law community seemed like a great idea. Not so much with LawCrossing. Due to the high level of spam that they send out to their subscribers, even simple confirmation emails are entirely banned from not only my work email portal but my gmail. I decided to take advantage of the 3-day trial. I signed up, but did not receive any sort of email confirmation. I found that LawCrossing had hundreds upon hundreds of redundant listings. For example, if AT&T had at some point posted a job listing, LawCrossing would show that listing dozens of times, each time with a different town or city in my metro area (i.e., a single job posting that probably originated from Indeed at some point may count as 50 unique job listings with LawCrossing)... Do yourself a favor and STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN from this service. They continued to charge my credit card even after they told me that they will not. And then when I asked for a refund, considering I had not used their service for months, they refused. Also, they only cancel memberships over the phone, so if you do cancel, there is no record (unless you use a voice recorder). Its telling that this company is located so close to the HQ of HOUND.com. which is another bogus jobs search engine. Just google it for info on its scams. I can't believe companies like this stay in business. All the jobs are recycled old ones. And they didn't have any of the jobs I found myself on employers websites. Read More »

If you're thinking about using Law Crossing to help you find those legal job postings that are sooo hard to find.... think again. Law Crossing is a huge waste of time and money. Most of the postings were out-dated when I was looking for a legal job in March 2010. When contacted, many of the employers posted as having openings had no idea that they had a posting out anywhere. Also, when you do figure out what a waste of time the "service" really is, then you have to try to cancel the service.... Read More »
