We successfully adopted with the help of A is 4 Adoption. They were professional and very kind, responsive to answering our questions, and thorough in guiding us through the whole process. We also really appreciated how they were present for our daughter's first mama at the hospital, supporting her through the process too (and on a holiday weekend, in our case.) My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about Laurie and the rest of the team at A is for Adoption. After two failed matches (at no fault of A is 4 Adoption) everyone there worked so hard to find us another birth mother. Our son was born at the end of last year and we couldn’t be happier. My wife and I are in the process of finalizing our adoption with A is 4 and I can say that they definitely know what they're doing! We had two matches through them and they were very nice through the process and were able to guide us through the highs and lows of adoption. Each of their employees work one on one with birth parents and adoptive parents for each case and help drive that personal touch for each person. The adoption journey is a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Being from Ohio and getting the call of an adoption situation in California left us completely ecstatic yet skeptical. We adopted our daughter with the help of Laurie and staff at A is 4 Adoption and would recommend them to anyone. We had a whirlwind experience and they were with us every step of the way as quick as it all happened. Really quite disgusted that we fell into the trap of working with Laurie and Shelley at A is 4 Adoption. We excitedly "matched" with an expectant mother in June of 2016 to never hear from her again and have had very limited communication with Laurie and Shelley since then. How convenient? After sending over $25000 to the agency in June of 2016 (at least $20000 of that was an agency fee) which was non-refundable per their contract, we have not been presented with any other potential matche...
