WoW...Adept moving & Storage. What a wonderful experience. I can't say enough about how smooth the move went. These guys were so accommodating. They accommodated my last minute office move, my after hours schedule due to restrictions set by the building owners and they completed the move in record time. Thank you Anthony and all of your great workers! This is the second time that I've used your company and will be the only company I will ever use to move. Anthony fully accomodated both of my LAST MINUTE moves; the workers arrived at the appointed times and they don't stop until they are done. They are careful, kind and considerate. I have used so many movers over the years and never had such a disrespectful person talk to me and my friend the way that Anthony did! What was suppose to be a smooth move because three guys were handling the move which none of them spoke good English turn out to be the worse move ever! I will report to the BBB as well. Really outstanding and super professional service I got from them!!! I called on a very short notice. I just wanted to say that I really appreciated the 2 guys today (Greg and Anthony ) - they worked hard and were friendly and helpful. Impressive, for sure. Twice in the past 3 years, and ADEPT MOVING was by far the best moving company I've used so far. They are a cheaper than a lot of other companies, and some customers get discouraged. They think more expensive means quality. This is an area where I think they excel and differ from others. I talked to my friends who had other movers that cost as much as $95 for 2 men annd $120 for 3. My cost was only $79 for 3 men crew, and it was well worth it. As a business owner I know value. If you are looking for the best in the business, go no further. This is the company to deal with. Adept Moving Company was recommended to me by a co-worker who said without a doubt Adept was the best moving company around. He was 100% correct. Lousy service. Two guys were unprofessional and very slow. Me and my husband could have done a better job ourselves. Change prices as they go alone. Quote was $59/hr for two man, but I guess there are plenty of extras ( hidden fees ) They charge for pacing materials. They charge extra for a credit card use, which is illegal in California. Then they charge double drive time ( if the time is 30 min, they charge 1 hour ) So the job that was supposed to take 3.5-4 hours , took over 6 and a half... Read More »

What can I say about Adept Company…These are hard working and punctual people. Thank you for all your help in getting me moved on Friday. I originally scheduled a move with a larger company, because someone in my office recommended them, but thank God I did not go with them. They showed up at my place 4 hours late just to tell me that they were tired and I needed to call their office and re-schedule for another day. Vladimir and Shukrat of Adept Moving & Storage at the Wilcox in Hollywood location, moved my husband and I on 10/10/08 from a large apt in Hollywood to a house in the hills of Eagle Rock/Mt Washington. These two guys may have looked like they weren't brawny enough for the job but they were two of the most hard working, diligent and fast workers we've come across. I used Adept's services on March 2008. I was shifting apartments within a mile from each other. My opinion is as follows: 1) The moving company is better than the more economical but unsafe adhoc movers from Craig's list. 2) The moving rate of $59/Hr for a Van and 2 men is competitive. But here is the flip side. 1) The workers were slow and hence a move that could be completed easily in 3 hrs took 5.5 hrs. 2) The workers seems to be overbooked, and hence were many hours late... I couldn't have been more pleased with the service from Adept Movers. I looked for someone with an excellent rating on the BBB and it is well deserved. The movers took great care with my belongings and always maintained a great attitude, even at the end of a long day. I would highly recommend them to anyone of my friends. My move was in December 2007. I was very pleased with the work ethic and the care that the movers took with my things. I did have two things break, but they were upfront, honest and brought it to my attention the moment it happened. They were extremely careful about padding everything and being cautious during the move, so I felt confident that the breaks were not due to negligence but just something that happened. I recently used Adept moving and was very pleased with their services. The crew that moved me worked at a fast pace and were very careful with all my belongings. They were also very professional, courteous and hard-working. I found their pricing reasonable compared to other firms.
