I am a general contractor specializing in commercial construction so I didn't have much experience with residential pool contractors. My wife and I hired LA Custom based on a recommendation from a friend. LA Custom wasn't necessarily the cheapest but neither is my firm and I also have believed that you get what you pay for. We had interviewed several pool contractors prior to choosing LA Custom Pools. Some were cheaper, but none of them gave us the comfort level and personal attention the LA Custom Pools did. They were creative, easy going and paid attention to the details, at one point even talking us out of the use of a tile in favor of shale stone, yielding a much more attractive result. When we started our search for a pool, we met with 5 different contractors. Glenn's knowledge of the pool business and his patience and understanding of our needs and wants in a pool, lead us to choose L A custom pools . Glenn and his staff did not disappoint. I would not hesitate to recommend L.A. Custom Pools to anyone looking to build or remodel their pool. Of all the contractors that I have dealt with they have demonstrated the upmost professionalim and attention to detail. Fantastic company to do business with. This was the first pool I had had built and they walked me through it step by step. They started when they said they would and finished when they said they would. There were no hidden costs.I still call them now, if I need advice or help and they are always willing to answer even the daftest questions! Not only do we have a beautiful pool and spa, but everyone at L.A. Custom Pools made our pool building experience a pleasure. Larry and Glenn worked closely with my husband and I to come up with a design that pleased both of us. They helped us to determine what we really wanted out of a pool and spa and how to make it a reality. The attention to detail and follow up with crews were a step above any other projects Ive been involved with. The overall experience awesome, & final results were beautiful, the pool will be enjoyed for many years to come. I was happy I went with the solar option--3 days after install the pool maintained a temp of 86 degrees, perfect for swimming! Great Company----Great People! Read More »
