I received a water bill for 180.00 for one month from this company. I have not heard anything from anyone being as though I sent a message just today. But I'm totally disgusted that this company thinks it could pull a fast one on me. I'm out my apartment working everyday and also the only occupant, which makes it even more ridiculous. want to know how NWP can claim so many Service Type, such as REMBURS PEST CONTROL, RUBBISH REMOVEL REIMB, ALLOCIATED WATER SERVICE, ALLOCIATED SEVER SERVICE, AND ADMINISTRATION FEE. Can some one tell me if this is LEGAL. All the above plus a $80 Rent increase for a 1 Bed RM. Read More »

This company took over the billing process for the apartment complex live in in January of 2015. They are adding unauthorized "OneBill" fees to my bill that was never in my 12 month lease renewal I signed in November of 2014. When I question them about it they say that BH management hired them to oversee the monthly billing and that I should take it up with BH Management. Overcharged, inaccurate readings, statements don't match the actual meter....This company has an excuse or "reason" for the meters not matching the statement. They claim my one bedroom one tenant apt is using 8,000 gallons per month! I have already filed a complaint with the BBB and their response was there was nothing wrong. Yes, I agree with the other postings. I have watched my water bill go from $12 a month to $50 a month And still rising. I have talked with other tenants in my apt complex And they are having the same problem. I have called NWP And they just keep saying the city has raised the rates And it is normal for the amount of water my apt is using. I have filed another complaint with the Ohio PUCO and the Ohio attorney general. In the state of Missouri National Water and Power and the apt complex were sued and LOST! Case #WC-2010-0227. My water/sewer bill increases every month and when I was gone for 2 weeks on vacation my bill actually increased. All they have is one meter per building and they divide the units...so I pay for others water/sewer use. NWP does not answer complaints and they just read off "canned answers". The apt manage... I recently moved into a new apartment on September 27, 2011. I found out when I set up my water bill that the previous tenants have an outstanding balance of over 1,000 dollars. I was told by my property manager and NWP that I will not be responsible for the bill. Flat out unhappy with this service. Excruciatingly overpriced on all fronts (I have water sewer garbage), no flexibility on price / service and there are hidden fees everywhere. Tried to pay with a credit card, noticed the ‘convenience fee’ for expedited payment so tried to pay by checking account. The online portal is so poorly developed it doesn’t support browsers other than IE with a scroll bar to get to the bottom of the form on all pages of the registration. I have NO clue how this company has such a good rating. They are terrible and are clearly ripping people off. Me and my husband lived in an apartment in Chesapeake, Va. called Adalay Bay. We moved there in January 2010, at which time our monthly bill was $55.00 a month. Being that we have lived in the area our entire life we knew for us this was about normal. I don't know why the BBB gives it an A rating, Not enough complaints i guess? I live in Florida and have lived where I am for 1 year now. This is the company we pay for our water, sewage and trash etc. First of all they hardly ever read the water meters if at all for an actual Usage amount.They are over charging people and you can't call or get in touch with NWP at all you have to go to your apartment office and talk to the manager there, then she gets in touch with the company?? Double Water Meter Readings.... I live in Beaverton OR and am being ripped-off. When I moved into the complex my water bill usage was about 25 units of water a month. I started keeping track when my bill had nearly doubled. A new meter was installed and NWP continued to use the old meter reading and never acknowledged a new meter was installed.
