Just wanted you to know that I've received both my Martin computer desk and Pastel dinette set and I love them!! They are beautiful and I know I will enjoy them for years to come. Thank you for your help in selecting my new chair and rug. They were delivered yesterday and I love them both! The rug brightens my room and makes my loft feel homey. (Its so much more plush then I had anticipated.) I'm so happy you advised me away from the brown shag! The chair is exactly what I wanted. We recently decorated our new offices in San Diego. We searched the Internet and found Metropolitan Living in Long Beach. The staff was very helpful and we got just what we ordered, as promised (4 weeks), and at a fair price. The delivery men were so great and helpful and prompt. Metropolitan Living had everything I needed and delivery was right on time. I picked just what I wanted on the website and when I called with a question, they were just great. What a wonderful shopping experience! As soon as you walk into the store your eye wanders from one unique decorating idea to another. The salespeople were so helpful with custom options for fabric choices for our dining room chairs, two couches and an area rug that is a focal point for our living room. My husband and I just moved to the Los Angeles area. We needed a new living room set that would fit the configurations in our loft. We went to Metropolitan and were pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices. We not only ended up with a custom made sofa in 3 weeks time, but a very sexy and hip bedroom set. Great experience with these guys. Adam helped me find a great sectional (Westwood) for cheaper than the other online dealers. These guys actually have their own furniture store, so it was nice speaking directly to people who know something about their products. I got it delivered into my house in 10 days of order for $75.00. Peter and one other did the delivery and these guys hauled a 500lb sectional sofa to my apt on the 2nd floor. TRUST ME, THIS MAY BE LONG, BUT IT IS WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY READING IT!!!!! I ordered a bedroom set from an internet furniture store called Metropolitan Designs (a.k.a. The Discount Furniture Warehouse.net) located in California. After paying for the furniture with my AMEX card, Discover card and Discover gift cards, the furniture was delivered 7 weeks later. My wife wanted to get a sofa set from a local store in San Diego, but it was very expensive. We were able to find out the manufacturer and found the exact same set on the Metropolitan Design website (www.thefurniturewarehouse.net) with delivery to our home for almost $500 cheaper.
