This company is the absolute worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I have no idea how they are still in business, whatever they promise you do not believe them. We called them after talking with Solar City, Solar City wasn’t able to give us enough Solar Panels for the energy we needed so we looked elsewhere and Verengo Solar said yeah, no problem, we will upgrade your sub-panel to a 200-amp panel for free also. Approx, one an a half years ago We hade Verengo install solar on our roof .Now every morning we find dead pigions on our front lawn . I called Verengo about it an asked to have someone install a wire medh around the panels, they stated that they are aware of our problem but would not do anything about it . My elderly father was suckered into signing a contract with a salesman going door to door. My father asked the guy to leave several times, but the guy kept going with his sales pitch. Dad felt the only way to get rid of the guy was to succumb to the pressure. The whole setup process was at times cumbersome, but went as smooth as could be expected. Once things were setup I was curious as to how much electricity we were using and how much it was costing. I was anxious to see how much money we were saving. SoCal Edison's website will tell you daily exactly how much energy you're using and how much it's costing you. No such thing with Verengo. Verengo Solar just installed a Solar Electric Generating System on our home and we are very pleased with the job they did. It was an easy process they arranged visits at our convenience, discussed our options, we chose the fixed rate plan with no money down that locked us into a fair rate for twenty years. What a great company. Everyone we worked with was knowledge, professional and great to work with. Jim the sales rep educated us on what solar could do for us in about two hours. It was a knowledge based meeting not a sales meeting. Monica our customer rep scheduled everything for us, kept us informed. This company offers to install and maintain a solar system for your home at no cost to you, except to pay them for the energy the system uses each month, which they estimate to be about $200 per month. What they don't tell you is that they will install a system that will only generate enough energy to meet their monthly charge, without regard to how much energy usage you will still have to pay to your local utility company. Terrible company. High pressure sales. I receive at least one phone call a day from people who with their for the last three weeks. I have received as many as five calls in the same day. We had ground based solar system installed in August and on-line in September. They worked with us to find an agreeable location on our acre lot. They were respectful to our wishes and kept us informed every step of the way. Our electric bill was cut in half with no cost to us.
