I rented a mifi for my trip to Italy and it worked perfectly. I streamed web and Skyped and I had excellent signal strength the whole time I was in Tuscany. There's so many stories about having to call in for support, I'm glad I didn't have to, it just worked. A+ Read More »

I am writing this review for Cellular Abroad based on an experience that I had recently during a trip to Europe. I bought a cell phone that works all over Europe (National Geographic cell phone) and, unfortunately, it was lost the first day I arrived in Italy. I called up Cellular Abroad to tell them to deactivate the service. i will say that this company has very nice employees, namely the supervisor i bought my National Geographic phone from but he's not there anymore. first off, the phone was a piece of junk... i could have bought an unlocked blackberry off of eBay and bought several sim cards to use in it for the price they charged me. i also bought a sim card for Italy and France since I was studying abroad there and: 1) the Italy sim had expired and there was nothing they could do about it but give me a refun... I used one of their phones while I was in Greece on vacation last year. The phone worked fantastic, was easy to set up. Having the phone made my trip so much more enjoyable. My family and friends were a phone call away so we could quickly communicate about which beach we were meeting at and make last minute plans, call cabs, etc. I wouldn't vacation without one again.
