Competitive prices, Staff knowledgeable about their products, patient and helpful with inquiries. Bought a battery for my Inspiron 1300. Placed the order late in the afternoon, so, even though I chose 2 day shipping, I expected it over the weekend. What a pleasant surprise that they still got it out the same day, and I got it within 2 days of placing the order!! This business is terrible. I ordered some memory on 1/22/2010 and over the next 5 days checked the order status. It never changed from 'printed shipping label'. I also noticed that they charged my credit card as soon as I placed the order. On 1/26/2010 I called and canceled the order and asked that they refund the card. i bought a battery for my laptop price and ordering were fine. the problem came when i had to return the battery. i got the rma and return item to company they said credit would take 10-14 days. i called towards the end of aug and was told they rec'd on 8/12 and was working on the credit note this was past the 10-14 day. i called back on 8/28 and was told the credit was issued and should be credited to my account by 8/31 i called on 9/2 and was told credit would be there on 9/3 and told the c... I was surprised at all the good reviews for Kahlon. My experience was more in line with the one bad one. I ordered memory chips on 1/2/09, and they charged my credit card right away, which is unusual. About a week later i checked the status on my order on their link on their site. It said "printed to warehouse" or some such. I called the 800 number and asked if they actually had my chips, and the guy I talked to hardly spoke, kind of evasive. I was recommended by a friend to use this company for computer memory upgrades and such. I am truly amazed at how the memory I purchased from Kahlon impoved the performance of both of my older HP computers. Before I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for them to boot up. I would suggest that you rethink placing an order with Kahlon. I placed an order on 12/28/07 with them for an item that they said I needed when given the information on my computer, I found out later when I received my memory chip that it was the wrong one. I was told I needed an RMA number and went through the process to get that number. Dealing with Kahlon has been a true pleasure. Their website is very well designed, and offers several methods of finding the right part for your PC. Got the battery I ordered a day earlier than expected. Put it in my laptop and I got an error light. Asked for an RMA. In the response, they suggested I update my BIOS, gave me the link to the Dell download page, AND gave me an RMA number just in case the bios update did not fix the problem.
