Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Made the mistake of having them change a belt. Radiator was out of coolant by the time I got home. Top of the radiator had a crack. Took it back. They said they couldn't have caused the crack. They showed me what they had done to put the belt on and the end of the handle of the wrench was exactly where the crack was. I went to EZ Lube at 7361 Edinger Avenue in Huntington Beach, CA. I told them that I wanted a full service oil change and that I needed my K&N Air Filter cleaned, because my car had been starting a little roughly and I was advised to have the air filter cleaned. They later came back and told me that the air filter was fine, and that it didn't need the $16 dollar service to clean it. My family has had a similar experience at EZ lube. My girlfriend is taking them to small claims court for damaging her car to the point where it was rendered inoperable. On April 7th, 2010 EZ LUBE #091 in San Diego, CA up-sold an unnecessary radiator flush which damaged the coolant system and caused the car to overheat and blow the head gasket. EVERYONE BEWARE OF THIS EZ LUBE AND ANY OTHER EZ LUBE!!!!. First off, on February 26, 2010 I drove my car to the EZ lube located in la brea and 2nd st in los angeles. Again i DROVE my 2004 Nissan Altima there for an oil change. When i got there they were offering me all these different things for the car but i told them that i just wanted an oil change. On 9/8/2009, I went for just an oil change at EZ Lube ( the one in Huntongton Beach on edinger ave and gothard st). The “advisor” recommended that I do an engine flush claiming that it was necessary to carry out those repairs. Later they called me to go over other services that were recommended. Among these services were a radiator fluid exchange, tire rotations and an air filter exchange. I sent my son (17 y/o minor) to the Burbank location for a simple oil change. Once there they quoted him a reasonable price for the oil change and service was started. The "advisor" came back telling him that they had to "flush the engine or they wouldn't be able to change the oil", gave him a quote that he understood to included everything (not in addition to) and not knowing otherwise he agreed. I went to the shop in Moreno Valley, CA for an oil change. I overheard the mechanic telling a customer that his battery didn't have any charge and was only starting with his alternator. Basically he was trying to sell batteries. When I was called by the mechanic, he said the exact same thing to me. He even gave me a print out of my battery charge.
