After my pre approval, I was asked for a few things, including a check for two months. This to me threw up a flag. I started looking into it and found this page and BBB's page saying the same thing. i am joining in with all the others. Same thing. They say you are approved and to send in lease and first and last then they never return calls or email. I will join with anyone in pursuing this company legally. If anyone has hired an attorney please let me know and I will join your case. They now say they need my social security number. I just got approved by them. SO i call the dealer and ask did they call them yet? they said no. They said never heard of a loan with someone not asking for copy of title banks dont loan till the see copys of title. made think maybe i should look them up online. Good thing i did. saved me about 2000 dollars. i just scared about them having my info. i guess next when out of state fince company calls ill look them up frist. I needed a larger piece of equipment for my business and I knew it would be another year I'd have to wait to purchase it. I received a call from a company called Cornerstone capital out of the blue. I wanted to get a $10,000 for a truck. After they got my $640 deposit, they didn't answer the phone and didn't call me back for 10 days. Then someone else called from a different dept and said that he now needed 2 years taxes and several months of bank statements. For a $10K loan!!! I initially had some reservation working with a company that is not local however they did a good job in getting me financing and did it with pretty quick turnaround. I also have been a victim of this companies indispicable business practices, Dec. 09. This company has taken all 40 some people here for 1500-2000 dollars each, that's 60-80 thousand dollars stolen! Cornerstone is a dishonest and misleading company. We paid them an upfront down payment for services and its been over 4 months and we have not heard from these people. They took our money without doing any business. Do not do any business with this company,they will rob your money. At first they are very nice and are quick with the process making you believe they are a good company. Don't be fooled, once they get your down payment you wont hear from them or have a deal at all. Im the president of a company called Signage plus based out of Utah. We recently worked with cornerstone capital to facilitate the purchase of a new Bucket truck. And after they received downpayment and cashed check they changed terms of agreement and won't refund downpayment.
