I needed five columns for the front porch of the house we were building. We considered stone, concrete, and wood. I came across pacificcolumns.com on the web. They sell a fiberglass/resin column that looks like stone/concrete. I spoke to them on the phone a couple of times and they sent me small samples of the material that they used. Purchased Columns for a job and had them shipped to our office a crate arrive and our receptionist signed for it.. We later opened the crate and then all the boxes to find that we had a damaged column, we called them to let them know.... they offered to sell us a new column, because our receptionist signed the bill of laden and did not open the crate and all the little boxes.... Do not use this company if you have any reasonable expectations of on time arrival! We have ordered from them in the past with fine results. We ordered the first week in Sept with a stated 10-12 day time production/delivery. For weeks we were given every excuse in the book why the columns did not ship. When they finally arrived 6 weeks later, the delivery truck gave us a 3 minute call before drop off. Obviously, we couldn't get sufficient manpower to unload the truck of 500 lbs of columns in... We had ordered a columns from this company, they sent us wrong and refused to send us refund. Trying to charge us restocking fee of 20% out of $ 6,000 order. We are about to take them to Small Claim Court or get the lawyer to fight them. The columns were never unloaded on our property. We are still waiting for refund it has been 90 days. Had a horrendous experience with this company. They sent the wrong color shutters and then were totally unhelpful. Finally got the right color but delayed. Then they sent a third set that I never ordered and when I called about it, they couldn't even find me in the computer despite my giving them the number on the packing slip. Very BAD company. Called in & told them what we wanted, they sent out totally different columns. Talked to customer service, never got an apology and acted like it was our fault. Wrong Product and Hard Time Getting Refund My wife and bought columns and capitals from Pacific and they sent the wrong sizes and when we tried to get them returned and exchanged, they gave us a hard time and acted like it was our problem, then we just wanted our money back and could not get anyone to return our calls and when we finally got someone to call us, he was rude and was trying to get out of returning our money.
