I went through a divorce after a long abusive relationship. The Loan Officer School prep work was fantastic! I took my test shortly after the 20 pre-licensing materials and working through the test prep materials and passed with a 90%. The test prep videos did a great job of making sense of the very dense mortgage regulatory environment. Most importantly, the material taught me a lot about the various rules and regulations and I feel very empowered around starting and running a compliant mortgage business. The customer service is amazing with Loan Officer School. I actually signed up for the wrong product but was able to get it corrected and pass the National Exam. I recommend doing the Test Prep course as well. It really narrows down the most important information that you need to know to pass the exam. The 20 hr course provided exactly what I needed. I was allowed to self study and go at my own pace. The instructor led course was very comprehensive and provided all of the information needed to pass the exam. The videos were a must for me. Not only were they something I could watch on any device, at any time, they also provided me with tips and tricks on remembering pertinent information. I found the 20 hour course to be invaluable. I happened to be unemployed at the time, and my UE insurance was not interrupted. When the testing centers closed because of coronavirus, I kept up by poring through the slides. I found the 9-hour summary really helpful because it connected the various laws so I could keep them straight in my head. I also used the 2-3 hour practical MLO video. I just passed my SAFE MLO Test with a high-performance score of 94% in June 2020. I took the 20-hour course from CJ Rice and also took the test preparation course. Took my NMLS Safe year today and passed with a score of 83! Happy and relieved! The loan officer school material is pretty impressive. The cram course and the 7 hr video was a life saver. The live webinar with Deanne and CJ helped as well. The Math part was a little tricky but otherwise, the test was quite ok. I took the NMLS exam three times prior to taking the loan officer school course. I passed on my fourth attempt thanks to the video training that helped me the most! My suggestion to passing the NMLS is fully understanding all the concepts rather than trying to memorize all the material that seems meaningless to those new to the industry. The NMLS test is to be respected, it is tough if not prepared, but this school provides all the tools necessary to pass the licensing exam on first attempt with a high score, easily above 90%.
