The search phrase placement is a total scam. The 'traffic' they deliver is not real, absolutely positively not real. My company did it for a site that people use to send in a poem and even though they show over 2300 IPs as traffic not one single poem has ever been entered. Not one. If those IPs reflect real searches by real people on their network looking for a 'poetry contest' then there would be at least one entry on our site. There hasn't been a single entry. If this thing had a rating for six stars I'd do it. I got the phrase VOTE and pointed it to FREEDOMWORKS.COM. I monitor it independently and I LOVE the results. Best thousand dollars I've spent on advertising in some time. If I'd have gotten 'VOTE' on pay per click I'd have spent that much the first week. I believe this company does not do what they offer. I have repeatedly requested my refund because of NO traffic and he keeps telling me that I get all these hits and he is lying. I have to give these people five stars for their honesty. I have a site where I'm promoting advocacy for local Veterans here in California. The price Star Position quoted was a fair price, and they fully explained their placement and how it's specific to the search toolbar. They were honest enough to tell me - in THIS ECONOMY - where most other companies would have gladly taken my money - that the market I'm going after is too small and that they felt that I'd be better served by other venues... First off, the 3 reviews above me look written by the owners or star position staff themselves. Key parts of the review are exactly what I had received in email responses talking with them. So, here is the 1st actual review of Star Position. Horrible, do not buy from either of these companies (they also go by Netguard Toolbar). It may also be a scam. I do search engine optimization for a living, and although I'm a competitor of Star Position, I have to give the devil their due here. They have a unique way of placing people. I actually downloaded the toolbar the owner there speaks about - and it works directly from the search engines. From what I see, you get some kind of video and voice chat feature to download their toolbar and there's also a basic anti-spyware feature which picked up Napster as being spyware. This company has brought me results I'd have never thought possible. Some companies talk the talk - Star Position walks the walk. They don't play the pay per click game - with all the fake traffic - they provide real results, and they even steered me away from search terms which sounded good but would have not actually BEEN good.
