So, who has the correct drinking fountain sink strainer?- right make, right model and it replaced easily with no fuss? Plumbers Surplus did! I don't trust lopsided reviews and thought I'd give them a try. I am glad I did business with Plumbers Surplus. Plumbers surplus had what they said that they had, the price and shipping were good. I ordered over $750.00 worth of supplies from this company. The order included 2 sinks with the appropriate drains. No one could tell me which drains could be used on which sinks and I subsequently received 3 items that had no relevance to either sink. I ordered my product on March 2, 2013. My credit card was charged immediately. I never received the product nor any communication about an issue with the order. Very timely response from customer service when contacted about delivery, I did experience a small issue when shipped to the wrong address but still received my order the following day. This company sent me the wrong product with free shipping and charged me $72 of my refund for the initial free shipping mind you I paid $80 to ship it back. They also charged a reshipping fee none of these fees are posted when you read the return policy. You will be better paying the few extra bucks at Lowes or Home Depot because atleast they aren't going to try and rob you without a mask. Read More »

I recently used this company to purchase Elkay bottom grids for my new kitchen sink. The grids arrived in excellent condition and are now in place and working well. Everyone I dealt with at Plumber Surplus was very helpful, and I was quite impressed at how well things went with the on-line purchase, shipping, etc. I will definitely use this company again if/when the need arises. Everything was fine EXCEPT for the on-line shipment status reports. PlumberSurplus.com showed parts had not been shipped when, in fact, they were already on their way. I even called PlumberSurplus to ask a live rep what the latest was on the order. He said they had not been shipped WHEN, IN FACT, THEY WERE ALREADY ON THEIR WAY. Stay away -- this company does not operate ethically or fairly. Their internal organization is completely messed up. I received an email that my order was on back order for 3 weeks (even though it says they had it in stock) and then I tried to cancel the order the next day (per their email) and then they say that it shipped and I couldn't cancel. Porcher 71015-00.640 Round Front Toilet Seat, Antique Cherry. I purchased this toilet seat from PlumberSurplus. It arrived damaged. The shipping time was very quick. I RMA the company through their website and they shipped another one, packed very well free of charge and didn't request the other back. The second also arrived quickly. Weeks ago I placed an order on Plumbers Surplus website for a shower faucet confirmed and my credit card is charged. I do not get answers to email so after a couple of weeks I chat with them about when to expect the faucet. WE HAD AN EXTREMELY BAD EXPRIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. We purchased $1700 sink from Plumbersurplus in November 2010. The sink arrived while we were on vacation over the Christmas holidays. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased a hand held shower by Moen on March 24 in the amount of $35.70 - awesome deal, so I thought. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. The company is non responsive and the customer service is horrible. They did not complete our order and did not bill us accurately. We only got portions of our order and they refused to take back the partial order. Bought a product (american Standard toilet seat) that broke 3 weeks later, told cannot return defective item without original packaging or even exchange it. Spent hours on phone, between them and American Standard. Very unhelpful customer service that sent me to American Standard to send replacement. Would never buy from them again. I sure wish we had looked at the BBB website before dealing with this company. We bought a shower pan back in July that has manufacturer defects in it, and they won't replace it! I placed an order on April 6, 2009 then had a problem with their system and it placed an item on order that I didn't want. So I called and got a cancellation notice from the company for the item. Stay away from this company. They are almost impossible to contact on the phone or live chat. Products are dropped shipped and takes an unacceptable length of time.
