I would not have been able to handle a move by myself if I had not hired ExcaliburVanLines. Movers came and wrapped everything so thoroughly, with care. It was comforting that they took care with all of my belongings and furniture. I was spending quite a bit on the whole move, and it would be a real embarrassment if everything was broken when it got delivered. Thankfully, I had a great experience with them. There is a reason these guys have such high praise. I moved this weekend from CA to TX. Excalibur van lines was not only very reasonably priced, but also fast and good at your job. They were in the early hours for the move, and handled all my furniture and boxes very precisely. At no point was I worried about the security or future of my items. I’m on the top of a 5floor walk up, so I’m a tough moving job. But these guys were absolutely A++. Read More »

I really can’t believe I’m reading some of these reviews. I know some people are going to complain, that’s just the way businesses are. I had a nice and pleasant experience with Excalibur Van Lines. If we move again, we will call this company again. We chose Excalibur Van Lines from a referral by our friend who used them too. They spoke very highly about these movers. The movers were as professional as they could be from packing to loading and unloading and the delivery were fairly quick. I have already referred this company to my few friends. What an excellent move I had with Excalibur Van Line. If you are thinking or going to hire a moving company, just hire this company. Your money and time will not be wastes! We recently moved our house and office from Pasadena to San Jose with Excalibur. The service was very good, on time and professional. They took care of our stuff very well and even helped me to pack some of the things to make sure they kept well during the move. I meet the guys up in San Jose 2 days later and they unloaded everything into the house and office. Nothing was broken or damaged. I've contracted moving companies 3 times in the last 2 yrs and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. They have the absolute WORST customer service I've ever interacted with and are completely incompetent. I specifically asked for them to provide an all inclusive rate which would include the packing of specific items, ex. TV, mattress and couch. they guys were amazing , they move fast and efficient, they didn't run but work very fast, the wrap my furniture with blankets and all mt glass with boxes to make sure that nothing will be damage, they give my a not to exceed price of $700 to move my 2 bedroom but in the end its come up to only $450.00 do not think twice about hiring them you will not regret it. 5+* to excalibur. I hired these guys last month to help me move from my 2brd apt to a new house. They gave me a quote on the phone of $72 an hour for 3 guys and a big truck. I was surprized that the rate was so low, compair to other quotes I've got off the internet. Their business activities border on criminal. I was quoted a reasonable price in keeping with several other quotes but by the time all was said and done I had to pay twice that to have my stuff delivered. We fired these guys before they even came out. The salesman, Michael, is very nice, spoke clear English and seemed sincere in his quote and promise there were no hidden fees. But the Asian dude that called to confirm was a huge A$$! He tried to tell us that they charged extra for mileage. I couldn't have made a better decision than going with Excalibur Van Lines. My move was flawless, they wrapped and protected all my antiques with out harming single piece. This was by far the worst moving experience of my life!! They gave me an estimate over the phone which sounded reasonable but then when they came to my house they had soooo many hidden charges. on top of that it was obvious that the movers were instructed to work really slow in order to take up more time. they estimated my job to take 4 hours but instead it took 9!!! the total bill was outrageous and i tried to call the office about this outrage but they conveniently put me on hold for 20 min... My experience with Excalibur Van Lines has been quite satisfying. A few weeks back I wanted to shift my office to suburbs in Los Angeles. these guys did a great job. i'm a college student on a budget and they gave me 2 men at 65 bucks with a 3 hour minimum. they came in and did the job quickly and re-assembled my desk and bed for me. the customer service was excellent both from the movers and people over the phone. i definitely recommend this company to anyone that needs a reliable and affordable mover. Switch and bate company!!!! Watch out. This company will entice you by their price and then switch it when they arrive. I asked for 2 guys to move my 1 bedroom apartment and I was told it would be $65 per hour for the 2 men with a 4 hour minimum. I have moved 4 times before and never needed more than 4 hours or more than 2 guys so this sounded fine. Well they sent me 3 guys which now made the price $85 per hour. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I've been moved many times in my 11-year military career, and I've never had a worse experience than with this company. They were slow and seemed to be slow deliberately in order to "milk the clock." We expected to pay for 4 to 6 hours of heavy lifting and do the rest ourselves, but the three-man crew made sure to stretch it out to almost 8 hours.
