Whynter AC lasted two short summers, our summers are less than two months long. We got about 4 months worth of cooling out of the AC. Rotating compressor wheel broke on the first day of using it this summer. Costs almost as much to ship and fix as to buy a new one. Company response for service is practically non-existent. Worked great while it worked if 4 months worth of cooling for the cost is worth it. I wouldn't recommend the Whynter Ac's. My portable AC from 8 years ago on the other hand... Read More »
