Mike moved all of my belongings from Okla. to Florida in Aug. of 2011. I was very impressed with the care he took and the wonderful way he knew to pack the truck so not one single thing was damaged!! He was wonderful and helpful and later moved my sister from VA. to FL.. He did such a wonderful job she used him to move her back to VA. a year later. I am looking forward to him moving me from FL. to MA. in a few weeks and towing my car to boot. I will recommend him to anyone. He is GREAT!! Read More »

Hired Mike for his services for a cross country move. All seemed fine at first. He came moved our belongings into two trucks with great packers. All seemed well. Until the day our things were scheduled to arrive. They were still located in the place of origin. He had our two vehicles along with ALL of our possessions. I contracted with Michael Kondratko Moving Services for a cross-country move and at first all seemed like this was going to be a good relationship. The contract and price included the cost of the move, all boxes and tape needed to pack my house. As others have said in their reviews, Mike is nice and personable at first meeting and when getting the initial deposit, but after that, for me, he was nearly impossible to reach. We arranged moving of a load from one location to 3 different drop-off locations, and paid for each location. The pick up went pretty well and the first two drop-offs were OK... well, so we thought at the time. The furniture to one address went partly into storage until a year later. I am so pleased with Mike as our mover from Phoenix to North Dakota. He came in & took over for us and told us to go ahead and head out for N.D. he would take care of everything and he did. What a wonderful feeling to know your possessions are in wonderful hands and when they arrived they were all packed very good and nothing broken. Run this mans info against the records with the California Public Utilities Commission and you will find that things don't match.Dont let him tell you he is lagit.If you get robbed by someone who's not licensed its your fault not theirs as far as the state goes so be carefull.This man is very aggressive in getting a job and he likes to get his down payment fast and then when you find out he's not legal he doesn't answer his phone after you tell him you want your money back.Hope this helps. I arranged for mike to haul a small flat bed trailer of mine from the Pacific Northwest to Utah. Everything was good right up to the point that he was going to hook up to my trailer. He became very hard to deal with because he did not want to pull my trailer, stating that it was because it did not have plates. In Utah this trailer does not require plates. I called and left Mike a message which he will not return. I also sent him a message on facebook and he refuses to respond. He dishonest and lied about his services offered to my family. He owes our family a refund and explanation of why he lied in the first place just to get a check. Read More »

This man refuses to respond to issues regarding a refund to my elderly parents (name grandparents of the year in California a few years ago, and now live in an assisted living care facility). He completely misrepresented his legal right to conduct out of state moves. Fortunately my parents learned of this before the move, but now are owed a refund on their deposit. I also have tried contacting Mike after my mother cancelled her move. The reason she cancelled was based on some questions about Mike's correct licensing--he said one thing, and the CA state agency issuing licenses said another. Because of this, mom told Mike she felt uncomfortable hiring him, so he told her he would refund the 50% amount she had paid him. She did this about 2 weeks before the scheduled move. My involvement with this company has been less than stellar. His abilities may be just fine, but thus far, trying to get a refund from him when services were not rendered has netted a lot of frustration due to phone calls NOT being returned.
