I have used this for years. Each iteration is worse than the previous. It can not prescribe controlled substances. Refills take 14 clicks. It takes up to two full minutes to close a chart. When searching pharmacies for a new patient they are not even in alphabetical order! There were no COVID codes in their "database" until very recently (last month). We've used Praxis for over a year and it is awesome. Probably the most customizable system out there, and we've seen them all. I'm running two tablets (my PA and I) and we've experience very few drops, although when you're wireless, there is some loss if speed. I would highly recommend Praxis to anybody looking for an EMR or trading up. This system is clearly way further along than most out there, so I really felt it was the obvious choice. Hello- I have been using Praxis EMR for about four years and I love the program. For the record, Praxis is actually my third EMR. Needless to say I struggled with the prior systems. One was from the hospital, the other was an expensive mistake (no names mentioned but expensive) so I am glad I found Praxis. Our office has been using Praxis for four years now and we are highly satisfied. We have three providers and the reason we implemented EMR was to improve our workflow. Praxis has helped us accomplish that and much more. The reason our office does not have speed, lost data, or functionality problems is that we used the proper hardware specs recommended by Praxis to avoid those issues. For the record, I have no personal, professional or proprietary investment in Infor-Med other than the professional use of the Praxis EMR developed by the company. I have been paper chart free and using Praxis 4.0 for fulltime clinic operation and patient care since Independence Day, 2010. The program does not lock up or crash on me. It is faster than I am. I have been a customer of Infor-Med since 2000. While I like the software, the company, with the knowledge of the CEO Dr. Low, has not kept their original sales promises and are now discriminating against our business. When I purchased the software in 2000, they PROMISED free support and upgrades "for life".Since that time, Dr. Low has decided that this was not a prudent business decision.
