This company is simply the worst. They sold me old shabby looking Cappuccino CD/ DVD cabinet – not new as advertised, plus damaged as well. The owner Edward Litvak refused to exchange defective item, so I had no choice but to force him to refund my money through opening dispute with the credit card company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY- I truly believe any glowing reviews must be made up. This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I ordered a dining table that was received severely damaged, I immediately put in a damage report and followed up with a call to the company. This online furniture place is a complete scam. On their website before I ordered the furniture item, it stated 5-7 days. After I purchased the item I received an e-mail saying delivery from 1 - 2 weeks. After all, they already had my money. I called after 1 week to see how long and they wouldn't respond but said "we told you 1 - 2 weeks" Well I actually wanted to know just how long, since they had my money. What a joke. They have nothing they sell. They take your money and you might get it some day. I didn't. I had to file a PayPal dispute when they refused to respond to me. Some terrible person named Edward answered the dispute telling me they responded telling me the item would ship in 1-2 weeks. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! OUR WORST ONLINE PURCHASE EVER! We received a dining table on 2/18/13 which was delivered into my home. Two cartons, one table top and one pedestal. The cartons showed no apparent damage. I opened, and spot checked to see if I could note any damage, which I could not. I did sign for the boxes as I could not see any damage at that time. I have been shopping online for many years doing 90% exclusively online. I've delt with hundreds through ebay, amazon and too many to list. This turned out to be my worst 3 full month nightmare. ADVOID at all costs. I paid for an expensive vanity and had to contact them as weeks went buy without delivery. Finally I took off work because the shipping company insists you be there in person. Worst experience for me to do online order ever. I ordered a bed at May 11, they charged me right away at that day, and didn't do anything for the two weeks untill around May 28 I called, they told me it was shipped out one day earlier. Now today is June 13. I still didn't get the bed. I call to cancel , but was told I can only get $33 to my credit card for refund. Paid $460 for the bed. Stay away from Home Furniture Mart! Do not fall into this trap! SCAM! I just do not want anyone to be their future victim! Do not believe these 5star reviews, not even a word. Strongly recommend people do not deal with this company, I have had a very bad experience; I received damaged pieces from them. They refuse to replace them without charge, now I have a furniture with damaged pieces, the customer service(wife?) is very rude and mean. Be cautious when ordering from them. They do not wrap their furniture properly to avoid damage during shipping. I ordered one nightstand (to see how they did. I wanted to order the full bedroom set, but I waited to see how they'd do with one night stand). The top drawer was cracked. I provided pictures to them. They said they'd replace the drawer. I waited for weeks. I finally had to ask them the status. They said they couldn't just replace the drawer and would I be willing to take a discount... Read More »

I agree with the other reviewers. I had the most trouble with shipping. The problems have not been resolved and I have not received a reply from Home Furniture Mart at all. Each time I call I receive a recording and have to leave a message, or get an automated message that the mailbox is full. No one has ever answered the customer service line. Read More »

The terrible experience I had (and still trying to resolve) with Home Furniture Mart has turned me against ordering furniture online ever again. I tried contacting them many times, both by phone and by email. I never received a return call or an email response. I had to resort to filing a complaint through PayPal. Was the WORST experience we have ever had with a company. We will be very hesitant about ordering anything major online again. Delivery took much longer than stated. When furniture was delivered it was totally defective (doors hung crooked, hinges misaligned, major cracks in frame, chips and gouges all over).
