My kitchen, dining and hall tiles have never been so bright! The previous owner had put some kind of sealant on and it was yellow and dingy. The tile now looks brand new and the tile is 20 years old! The technicians were wonderful. After seeing this first rate job, I am convinced that cleaning grout is not a do-it-yourself job. Their professionals know their business and take pride in their work. Kevin and I bought a home and closed 2.5 weeks before Christmas. Tom Salazar came out, looked at the corners of our carpeted floors to see what we had underneath and gave us a great quote to refinish the floors underneath the carpet. The best part, he was able to have his crew start the very next day! The crew was very good, explained what they were doing when asked and cleaned up every day. I have Travertine throughout my lower level. The original installation was not the best in that there were numerous areas where tiles were higher or lower than one another - Specialized Surfaces honed my floor and it is much better than it was - very smooth surface now. Floor looks great. The staff gave me options as to what finish I wanted - matte, satin, gloss etc. They honed it to me request. Great to work with. I am very happy. Read More »

On 6/24/11 I had Specialized Surfaces out to clean and reseal my slate floor. I had a few tiles that had been replaced in the center of the floor and they used the wrong grout color during the installation. To say the least, the tiles looked in stark contrast to one another. I wasn’t expecting to much, but was curious when they said they could match and stain the grout color to make a uniform appearance. I hired this company to do some tile repair and restoration on my family room and kitchen floors. The were able to find a matching replacement for the broken tiles that we had. They explain the whole process with us in detail and showed us several options we had on the floor's finish. The did a very nice job and I would highly recommend them. Read More »

Specialized surfaces is a company that is using only sub contractors. They charge double the amount you would be charged if you called a company where the guy you get the estimate from actually will be there doing the work and doing it for less. For information purposes only I feel it should be understood that TSI Property Services, Inc. does not have a contracotrs license in their name and has filed an exemption for workman's comp for the other name that their license is under. While I did contract with them and they did an adequate job, I was a little surprised to learn this information after the fact.
