Christmas has been ruined by the dishonesty of their published shipping dates. I ordered my son's only christmas gift on the website. It was written on the website that the order would be shipped by 12/15. I never heard from them so I called and they never answered the phone. I specifically insisted that inventory was checked via phone with the rep who took this order! WHY? because an entire wholesale project getting done included having this item in hand. They sent me a gun that I couldnt wait to use, it came with a very bulky orange tip on the gun and a barrel replacement, so when I tried to remove the barrel to replace it with the other one included the barrel snapped off and the pin wouldn't release. Evike gets the newest kit, and ships online orders rather promptly...that is the good. Out of three orders, two had manufacturer defects. One of which was an obviously missing part...the bad. Once Evike gets your money, they could care the least if the product was correct! Evike seems good when you look at the site. Check them out on the BBB. It is easy to get a good rating there but what you need to look at is the number of complaints. All the ones I saw were customer service related. So if you get your order as you ordered it they will seem fine. I was warned by a friend but I thought how hard is it to get an order correct. I, personally have had only a few, small problems with evike. Evike has the worst customer service and one of the slowest delivery service. Two months ago, I purchased some BB's. It arrived after 12 days. "BUT" They shipped the wrong BB. Well to start with, Evike has a lot of good stuff, their prices are usually as good as airsoftgi (the sort of "biggest" airsoft store) and sometimes better. They also have some interesting deals such as getting 2 free magazines (the ammunition kind) when you order a new AEG, or getting free bbs and stuff like that (search holy cow in the search box). I have always received very good service from this company, they have a large inventory to choose from and range with small internal parts, nice exterior finishes, and even fully assembled rare to find guns. Beware of ordering online or on phone. Evike are notoriously bad at updating their stock so if you order anyway but in store in person, you better hope hard that what ever you ordered it's actually in stock. Do not trust the "in stock" you see on the website or if the employee told you personally it's in stock. You might get an email a week later that "oh actually we meant limited stock and it just ran out as we got to your order so sorry for wasting a week of your time waiting for nothing...... Frankly, horrible service. Ordered a product from their website on 16 April. It's 9 June now. Still no product. Can't reach them on the phone, they rarely answer. I don't think Evike deserves such a low rating of 3 stars. And I know only the dissatisfied customers will usually rate which is unfair for the retailer so here're my two pennies.
