I placed an order of 8 pen knives on November 2, 2017 and as of today, February 7, 2018, I still have not received them. They were supposed to be Christmas presents, of 2017. Several emails and phone calls the only thing they can tell me is they are on back order and there is no way to find out from the vendor how long it will be. Maybe they are using the wrong vendor. I have worn a uniform my entire adult life and remember the days when uniform stores went the extra mile to make sure you had all that you needed and looked great when you put their uniform on. Unfortunately, I've seen a steady decline in the inventory, customer service and extras. I ordered almost three times per year since 2013 and this last time will be my last. First off, I was only able to receive 3 of my initial 6 items as the rest was back-ordered. This is very common practice for LAPG to not have most things in stock; very frustrating. Recently purchased boots from LAPG. When I tried them on they didn't fit, which I figured was no problem because 100% on online stores would have free returns back to their stores. Well this is the only online store which will not offer a free return. To be able to send the items back, that means I have to dig back into my wallet and spend more money on a product I am no longer happy with. I placed a order for Under Armour boots ($89.00) on October 2nd and purchased next day shipping ($34.00) Nothing indicating this product was on backorder. 7 Days later....Still nothing. I contacted Customer service and on October 18th, they finally responded saying this product was in stock and they would refund me my next day shipping cost of $34.00 (which they did days later) and would ship my boots out along with next day free of charge. Placed order 08/16. Notified backordered 08/22 until 08/28. Repeated emails unanswered. AFTER telling them cancel order, charged my card. Order #3454202 placed on 08/16/17. They will send you broken and defective products and the wrong products. In addition, they expect you to pay the return shipping even though they are the incompetent ones. It is impossible to reach customer service as well. After ordering products, which say they are in stock, they will magically become back ordered. Marketing emails and associated "deals" on website are not corresponding with each other. Poor inventory tracking of products. Pricing isn't the best. I ordered about 800$ worth of stuff from la police gear and I got about 600$ of it shipped to me they still have the other stuff on back order, now you need to understand when you order from there website it will tell you if they have the item in and if they don't how long it will take to come in . Well, I have boots twice from LA Police Gear and received back order notices both times. Understandable, I am picky and I have a quite large foot (14 wide).
