In October 2018, I changed my ADT account from one company servicing it to (unbeknownst to me) Blue Light Security. As a part of upgrading my Pulse System, I needed to return to the parent company ADT. I contacted BlueLightSec to end my service w/ them and activate it with ADT. Customer rep (Joe Winters) came to my house and said he will send me DocuSign paper so if I agree to take their service I can sign up, otherwise I can deny it. And I read their all reviews and decided not to take their service. Even though I didn't sign up their service, they still charged me $99 dollar for installation. I am going to cancel my contract with this company as soon as possible because the salesperson lied. He stated that the company was giving a free gift to new customers. However, when it was time to get the gift, I was told that because I got additional sensors the gift was not valid for me. I hate being lied to just to make a sale. Be honest damit! Read More »

I completely disagree with the other reviews that are negative. I have nothing but the best to say about this company. I signed up for a service with them and my experience was exceptional.The person who answered my initial call was professional and very helpful answering all my questions. this company will not come out to check a system , un til the problem is repeated several times. The people who finally come out are rude and love to say"if I have to come out -it will cost $185.00"or "It is not showing any problem on our board" , after going off 3 times before it would cancel-no one ever phoned me to see why the alarm went off. some of the technitions that they send out are not to be trusted. I am very dissatisfied with this company I got a flyer at home and was completely cheated. It asked for a $99.00 installation fee with free equipment but when the sales person came by to the house for the free evaluation the price changed. I should have known right away when I had first called the lady who answered the phone , she was very rude and didn’t have much product knowledge, pushy sales rep and very rude cust service. Great experience. My Security Consultant Pam Taylor was great! After shopping the other security companies she had the best price and wasn't pushy. She set up the most user friendly design and made sure we were comfortable with the system. Our installer Chris was great showed up on time and explained how to use the system. Really really shady company. The sales person sold Slimline Wireless window transmitters stating that the ones they have are smaller and better than the competitors and made us pay for them. When the installer came, he installed older less expensive and much larger transmitters. We called the salesperson to let him know the wrong devices were installed, and he told us to talk to the installer, and he would take care of it.
