This school sucks all they want is your money. I attended this school last year 2011. They promised me they will help with job placement which they are all talk because till this day I am not working as a medical assistant they supposibly help you. I went in one day to speak to the person who is in charge of the job placement all she did was hand me a paper with a list of websites to go on. This school is horrible and dirty. I attended this school in aug 2010 for medical assistant, they promise to help you with finding a job which Is a lie. The instructors where horrible including the staff. My fist week going one of the instructor was hard to understand students were complaining, the instructor ended up quiting after my 2 second week being there. I have learned many techniques at Advanced College on how to study, take exams, and manage my anxiety. The instructors here have provided me with knowledge needed for me to become a professional nurse. The staff has been very accommodating to my needs for education. My overall experience while attending Advanced College has been great. All the textbooks and tools, such as the computers and the ATI software have been a tremendous help for me; along with the clinical facilities and hospitals, where I gained a lot of my clinical knowledge. The time I have spent in this class has gone well so far. I am enjoying the course very much. The instructor Mr. Rodriguez has been very helpful reviewing and teaching the learning material. Everything is explained simple and right to the point. The class is big and quiet enough so it makes it easy to concrete and focus on my work and assignments. I enrolled in this school for the evening Medical Assistant course. The first 3 weeks, we did not have a teacher. After several complains to the schoold they brought in a teacher, she tried very hard to instruct us, but was not given any curiculum and when she took us into the laboratory, there was no necessary equipment for her to instruct us to give injections, venipunctures, EKG'S and learn all the basics of the back office. I ATTENDED ADVANCED COLLEGE ON JANUARY 19TH 2010, IN WHICH THIS HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I HAVE EVER MADE!! FOR STARTERS ON THE 1ST DAY OF CLASS WE DIDN'T RECEIVE A SYLLABUS OUT-LINING THE SUBJECTS TO B STUDIED,THROUGHOUT THE COURSE. WE DIDN'T GET ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THE UNIFORMS, AND THE STAFF WAS UNSURE ABOUT THE WEEKEND AND WEEKDAY SCHEDULES FOR THE EVENING STUDENTS (SHAME).
