I purchased the webwatcher software. Used it one month and can't get back in. I was told that I needed to buy an extended download. The cost was $90. This company is ripping people off. They have record of my purchase and still won't allow me to get back into the program with purchasing the download. I am writing the Better Business Bureau as well. Read More »

I have used Webwatcher for a couple of years and have always found the product to work incredibly well. As a single dad with a teenage daughter, I depend on Webwatcher to help me supervise her internet activities. Misleading/False advertising- This company has the worst infrastructure for customer service and a 3 day strict refund policy. They advertise that you can use their software on mulitiple computers but leave out that they will charge you at least $97 per computer. The customer service support is chat room set up. My software worked at first, but I quickly had problems that their tech support could never resolve. I asked for a refund, however was told that you can only get a refund within 3 days of your purchase. It worked for 3 days, then it was nothing but problem after problem. I was finally told that if I purchase more of their product they could fix my issues. I am being held hostage by awareness technologies. I was happy with their software at first. I abruptly stop working properly after about 90 days. When I contacted Tech Support I was told if I sent them another $68 they would send me the new version that would work. When I did a little research online I found a disturbing number of people who have very similar experiences all who were told for $68 they could get their software back up and running.
