Peace and quiet will never been consistent which means poor sleep because of the paper thin walls, cheap loud flooring and heavy-handed loud residents with surprise "guests" that become regular tenants not listed and paid for on the lease. You can tell what room your neighbors are in everyday. That is how thin the walls are. Do not use this company for property management, they are disrespectful to their clients, rude, require way more from you than is required by law (my attorney said legally they can't ask for half of the stuff they tried to ask for) and are overall poorly managed by the broker Mike Shaar. My application was declined without any reasonable explanations. With my credit score 752, annual income 85k, and no inquiries at all I did not receive any reasonable explanation from the company managers as to why they decided not to allow me to rent an apartment of only $1425 a month! The staff at SIG is amazing, especially Stephanie and Misty. I moved from one apartment to a larger one in the same building and they went out of their way to make everything go smoothly. Maintenance is taken care of quickly- I had a plumbing issue Thanksgiving weekend and was freaking out that no one would be around to get it taken care of but Stephanie called me back within a half hour and had someone there within an hour- thereby saving the day! I have been a tenant of SIG for several years now and have never had any issues. I have been working with Misty D for a couple of months now and she is GREAT! Very informative and very attentive to all my issues. I never hesitate to email her, call her, or even go directly to the office to have any issues resolved! I was a previous tenant for over a year at one of this company's properties and i gotta say they are a very professional and well managed property management company. Professionalism at its finest! The team SIG has going is great! Always very fast to service our concerns and issues, and considering that we live in one of their apartment properties, its awesome. We have lived here for 12 years now and we cant complain. The building is well maintained and taken care of and again, all issues are almost immediately addressed. I moved into an apartment building managed by S.I.G. Property Management 6 months ago and I have been more than pleased with the friendly office staff as well as the building manager. I'm coming at this from a slightly different perspective from the previous reviewers. I'm the owner of a single property (single-family home), and had moved away on a temporary work assignment and wished to rent the property for a year or two. S.I.G. served as my eyes and ears while I was away, and ensured that the property was kept in good repair and interacted with my tenant as necessary.
