I'm a serious collector. I decided to try www.diecastmodelswholesale.com after being fed up with some other companies' damages and defects which I kept receiving. I can tell you that my first order was for three 1/18 scale cars and three of 1/64 scale cars. I decided to give it a try at www.diecastmodelswholesale.com. Ordering was simple and easy. What I liked the most is the $9.95 flat rate shipping cost, so I decided to purchase eleven items. Never recieved the product that I ordered. Tried to work with John in customer service to work out what happened and asked to even come to a compromise (perhaps a discount to get it re-sent) but he could not be bothered. He was not even the least bit apologetic that the package was not received. I truly could have been at least let down easy with an "I'm so sorry about the package loss, but there is nothing I can do on my end." This was my first time trying this company and I didn't have a great experience. I wish I would have looked at reviews before purchasing. My order was delivered to the wrong address. I have had this happen with other companies and have received wonderful customer service to resolve the issue. This was not the case for wholesale diecast models. I've been collecting nice quality die cast models for a while. I was pleased to find this site, so I placed an order for two 1:18 cars. Unfortunately I was not happy with either item when I received them. The door mirror on the Camaro was almost laying down on its side and one front seat will not go back in its rest position, and on the '59 Pontiac Convertible, both seats were crooked (very visible in a convertible) and who's bright idea was it to scotch tape down the very fragile windshield... I've bought a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air HT Red Diecast Model 1/18 at Diecast Models Wholesale. I got charged for it and never received it! Diecast didn't show any interest in trying to resolve this issue; they just sent me the receipt that the box got delivered by FedEx and that was it!. Based upon my most recent purchase experiences, Diecast Models Wholesale is a ripoff. They sent me the customer damaged goods and then give me the run-around and old heave-ho when it came time to replace the damaged/defective item or refund my money. My problem is still not resolved. Be very careful using this site. My husband and I tried to purchase a diecast model for his father for his birthday. Unfortunately, they charged my credit card but the car was never delivered. Buyer beware! This is a shady company. They ship damaged products and DO NOT provide any customer service. Their phone number is automatically redirected to an answering system. The telephone number listed with the Better Business Bureau (323-620-3820: presumably with the owner) is answered by a person who denies being associated with the business, yet will return calls to inform you that you MUST send them an email to discuss any issues.
