First off if you got here like I did and clicked shop by category and selected "Shallow Mount" these speakers are NOT shallow. There should be better clarification to that fact available to onlinecarstereo shoppers. I had a very unpleasant experience with this company. I spoke with a man from the customer service department on about ten minutes before closing, in regards to an online purchase i was trying to make but was being denied because the billing address was saying it was incorrect. Long story short is I have paid for my system May19 and have yet to listen to it. Customer service treats me like craps and I can't get a call back. Ordered a DVD in dash stereo for my truck and 2 sets of speakers. They said it would get to me by 2-3 days since I'm in the same state. My package came 3 days later and I only had the speakers. I called to see whats going on. I was told my stereo was giving to somebody else. I asked " how come nobody bother to call me after I placed my order. They didn't have a answer. i would recommend staying away from this company. their shipping department is dishonest. they said they shipped my package, but never did. they tried blaming it on UPS, but UPS has no record of the package ever being picked up. complete waste of time. its one thing to have them simply not ship out a package, but to have them flat out lie to me multiple times about it is inexcuseable. i wish there was something more punitive that i could do than just writing a bad review. This commany is very rude on the phone, they put me on hold for 10 minutes for each of my four phone calls. Dont use this site if you are using any address other than your own home address, They wont ship to it. They also charge 30$ for ground shipping to a P.O.box. ONLINE CAR STEREO is a rip off company. I would tell no lies. I ordered a radio back in january of 2010 and the radio never came. The company agreed that they were at fault for not sending the radio and agreed to resend it out. Keep in mind they had already took the 300.00 out of my bank account. I was a returning customer, which according to their site, meant I got preferred treatment, which was to get my stuff shipped the same day, they did not "ship" it until 7 days later, 7 days after that, no package, got on their website, it stated "shipping info received" by ups, and "shipped" by them. This company was very timely. OCS emailed me telling me when they received my order, when they shipped it and when sent me a receipt for my purchases. Tracking numbers were sent. Package was immediately mailed on my first purchase and now on my second purchase they mailed it first thing on Monday morning when I ordered it Saturday night. OK, here we go. I start out by not seeing my item ship. I email them, they say the items are out of stock (they don't list that). AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! I would not buy any more products from this company ever again. I tried to purchase a radio from this vendor and got two defective radios. After the second defective radio I received, I had just wanted a refund back, which they would not grant. First off, great prices! Really really POOR customer service!!! They received my unit for repair on the 23rd. of March '08. It's now Friday the 13th. of June '08. I called twice and sent a fax yesterday and still no response what-so-ever. My unit was still under factory warranty plus I bought an extended warranty. Ive ordered many times from this business. Usually the Items arrive on time, and in good condition. But if there is a problem - Good luck - Thier customer service is probably the poorest that ive seen ever. On a couple of occasions while explaining a problem ive had them actually hang up the phone on me! At first I thought I had made a mistake by shopping with this company but ended up very surprised and pleased with the all around service and customer support. I would recommend anybody in the market for car audio and video to spend your money with this company. I try buying an amp from this company. Worse desicion I made. Waited for a week only to find out that they never ship it why I don't know they don't tell you all it says item not shipped but they sure figure out how to charge my credit card. Avoid this company big time! Ordered a pair of speakers, waited 13 days & nothing. Actually tried for 3 days, on & off - sometimes waiting over 45 minutes to get somebody, anybody to talk to me. They have a send-you-in-a-circle wait phone system where you have to press 1 every 30 seconds. This place is the biggest sham, it gives all other internet companys a bad name. Never again! I`m very upset with this company. My order # D475780954A7. That is Boss Audio BV9050. First one was broken after 2 weeks, after 2 month company change that for another one. Another, same after 3 weeks doesn`t work. Problem is with screen, that is black. I try connected with somebody by phone, but only can leave messages.
