I contacted Omni Design Studio Inc. (Omni)in January 2014. I told them that I was interested in building 2 units in the city of Hawthorne. They informed me that they could give me a fixed price for the design and construction work early on since they specialized in design/build projects. We were very fortunate to acquire Omni Design Studio (Omni) to design and build our home in the city of Hawthorne. During the 2007 housing collapse, our bank closed the equity line of credit that we were using for the construction of our house. This unjust action by our bank stopped all progress. Omni Design Studio was able to overcome some difficult permitting challenges at the outset of my construction project. Once begun, Jose and his team completed the project very rapidly with excellent workmanship and on budget. Jose's follow up and communications are excellent. I was VERY pleased with the work, reliability, and results that I received from Omni Design Studio. He replied to me immediately after I contacted him, got the job done quickly, and helped me with the city when it came time for plan approval....which I believe he went out of his way to do. The city of LA housing department busted me for having a deck on my beach house that was not permitted. I bought this beach house 20 years ago and the deck was there when I bought it. No one ever had a clue this deck was not permitted. I have been repeatedly inspected by LAHD every year or two and have been renting out the duplex without a problem. I am a general contractor that works on residential projects in Los Angeles County. I have used Omni Design Studio for 7 years for all of my projects and I have never considered using any other company. They provide me with custom home designs, and construction drawings when I require them. They have great consultants that they work with so I always go to them whenever I need technical guidance. I used Omni Design Studio(Omni)to develop 2 rental properties in the city of Compton. They provided me with a custom home design and construction drawing services. On the first project, they creatively designed a 2nd unit for my rental property. Omni Design Studio Inc. provided remodeling services for my duplex in the city of Lennox. I was completely happy with their professionalism and attention to detail. I was pleased with them explaining to me the remodeling process as well. The great thing about them is that they also offer design services.
