This review is long overdue. Safe-Way moved us a few years ago from Laguna Hills to Valencia. Two large guys showed up ahead of time and were so fast! The movers were courteous, friendly and professional. They are by far the best moving company I have ever used and would not hesitate to hire them again. Safe-Way Moving is probably the best moving company I've ever worked with. Mike (the manager) was very professional and treated me like I was a valued customer. He was organized and spent much time on the phone with me to discuss the details, then he followed this up with a detailed email outlining the charges, etc. There were no "gotchas" or hidden surprises on the cost; something that many moving companies do. Safe-Way Moving performed my household move on June 4th and June 5th. Scott and Eric were the movers, they showed up at my residence on time and they handled my items with care. I was extremely pleased with the service provided by Safe-Way Moving. They confirmed my appointment, showed up in a timely manner and two of the nicest men moved my furniture. We've all experienced "Mover Hell" but Safe-Way Moving helped erase those bad memories and renew my faith that there are still people who care very much about providing excellent service. I decided to use professional movers for this move because all my past moves relying on 'friends' just never worked out. With severe arthritis, I no longer could physically move myself. Safe-Way proved to be 100% reliable and absolutely delivered exactly what was promised. They showed up earlier than scheduled and immediately went right to work. We had 2 moving experiences with Safe-way moving in the San Diego area - one smaller move and one larger move. There was a scheduling glitch with the first move, and as soon as Mike became aware of it he went above and beyond to fix it. To me, the responsiveness of a business when a glitch arises is the best test of customer service, and Safe-way passed with flying colors! I am very pleased with all aspects of the service I received from Safe-Way. They were on time, fast, efficient, friendly and professional. Ronnie and Frank were great and they handled my belongings thoughtfully and with care. They were very mindful of "the clock" since I was being charged by the hour. I have moved over 25 times. Mike and the crew at Safeway Moving are by far the best in the business. The professionalism started from the initial call to set up the move and continued until the crew left my new house. These guys know what they are doing. Safe-Way just finished moving us for the 4th time in 4 years. And, as usual, they were great. All the accolades fit: On time, professional, courteous, fast, careful and reasonably priced. And when we asked for special care for an item it was taken care of with no hassle. And I just placed an order to move my brother-in-law's things so we will have used them 5 times.
