These highly skilled marketers will call homeowners and pitch them with felonious programs that will help pay for these upgrades. The poor homeowners are completely harassed, and once they get all the info on them, its on; the daily phone calls, more felonious gas company upgrade programs and so on.... This company has been doing unsolicited telemarketing for almost 5 years now. We receive sometimes more than 3 calls a month from them We have asked, demanded to be removed from their list and they still call. What does it take to get removed from a telemarketing list? Isn't the constant harassment of dozens and dozens of calls illegal? We have asked, begged, even yelled at them. They will not stop the calls. Clearview Construction Just completed a project on our residence. The project entailed Tex-cote on the exterior walls, fascias, trim and new gutters around the entire house. Overall, the project was done with attention to detail, thoroughness, care, promptness and professionalism. My partner and myself are quite happy with the finished look of our home. During the summer of 2011 I employed Clearview Construction to install double pane Anlin windows throughout my two story home. I was very satisfied with their work. So much so, that I then employed them to install a new 5 ton American Standard heating and air conditioning system, add extra insulation in the attic and replace all the original ductwork. I really got taken by Clearview when I signed a contract to put in an air conditioner. When they arrived to install they said my furnace had to be 5 ton and I only had a 4 ton. This added $800 to the $10,000 contract and told me I had to get CASH. I did not read the contract as carefully as I should and this contract did not include duct replacement which I now have to have done at approx. another $1800. These guys keep calling, even though I've told them on several occasions that we are on the "do not call" list. What tics me off is that they first claim to be calling "on behalf of the utility company" to offer energy upgrades. Then they state that they are authorized by the DOE. It's all total fabrication, and innuendo to get them more business. Don't do business with them; their sales tactics speak for themselves. I like to say I've used clearview for a number of home improvements windows, exterior paint ,and insulation and I have been pleased with the service and work they have done.They have done my daughters home as well roofing and insulation....I would highly recommend clearview to anyone products are of high quality and professional service is GREAT! This company presents itself as a "Christian" organization. I should have left religion out of it. I'm naive and that just makes it worse. Anyway, their sales pitch was that their installation would cause less light loss, i.e. less vinyl covering window, than "that"(the windows installed 4 years ago by another company). I did the mistake of having this company do the work on my roof. It all started out in January of this year. I signed the loan documents with an interest rate of 13.99% and informed the company I could not have the work done until April, when April came around they came out again to have me sign loan docs and the interest rate was now at 14.99%. I had a guy who came out to my house to give me a free "Estimate" on putting in new windows. After he gave me his pitch, I declined, and he stormed out of the house with a giant attitude.
