It was a HUGE MISTAKE for my Fiancé and I to purchase my engagement ring from Daniels at the northridge location. All of its employees and especially the store manager Luis Aguirre are incompetent, liars, RUDE, ignorant and unprofessional. Before this defective ring that I was sold to I was a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER FOR OVER 8 years that I had excellent credit with them. Very dissatisfied!!! I went to Daniels on 2/13/11 to have them repair my ring with all new prongs. Three weeks later my diamond falls out luckily I found it. I returned to the store with my ring and the associate confronts the jeweler about all prongs being fixed which I paid $297.00 for and the jeweler replies "No I didn't not repair them all just the big one" which holds my antique 1 carat diamond. Daniels Jewelers is the most horrible store I have ever done business with. I took my wedding rings in Dec 2010 in Arcadia,CA to have my prongs re-tipped, BIG MISTAKE!!! I got back my rings in a condition I couldn't believe. The prongs are ugly some are thick some are thin, with lots of pits in them, the weight of my rings are very light in weight. This was the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their associate Valerie continued to harass me. I advised I would be making a payment but it wasn't a good time since I had unexpectedly loss my mother and was trying to deal with that at the time. She continued to call me several times a day even when she was asked to stop. I did mail a payment and intend to pay off the balance which is under $100 in the next 2 weeks so I can sever all ties with them. Read More »
