I bought a spa cover from Hot Tub Works in June 2019, with a 5 year warranty. Within 5 months of delivery, one of the straps that is used to hold down the cover ripped. It was never used to lift the cover, and actually it ripped the first, and only, time it was touched. Pictures were sent to the company, per their request. They claim the strap was mis-used to lift the cover, which it never was. They denied the warranty claim, and said that it would cost $175 for them to fix the strap. I cont... Read More »

I ordered a $600.00 cover and received it from Hot Tub Works. On their site they ask you for the make and model and then pop up a window that gives you the dimensions of your cover. In this window there is no signs that there is more than one choice. You can scroll down to choose other years of the spa that you own and since I'm not a spa cover professional I did not know some spas change sizes depending on the year. Once they get your credit card info, then all communications stop. Only good thing to say is that the hot tub cover was the right size & color. But quality is inferior to other hot tub covers and certainly not made as described in their fabrication video. Bottom side of cover shipped is a fiberglass screen mesh when the sales agent confirmed the bottom was a vinyl fabric complete with grommets for drainage. Products purchased together do not WORK together, and this lousy company does nothing to make it right. I bought a spa cover, lifter, and cover cap, all at the same time in the same online order. The cover fit well. The lifter, although functional, does not fit very well. The cover cap does not fit at all. DON'T BUY A HOT TUB COVER FROM THESE CROOKS!! They offer a five-year “Peace of Mind” warranty but the top-of-the-line cover we bought from them (“The Works”) lasted just over two years (the stitches came loose, rips formed in the inner plastic lining, the foam got waterlogged and the cover became impossible to lift). I have been buying my spa parts through our dealer for years and just discovered your site. I ordered chemicals and filters just to try them out and they are exactly what my dealer has been selling me for almost three times the amount. Dear BBB, We had Balboa control system giving us Hot Tub headaches. Our local service provider was inept and extremely expensive. We were fortunate to find Hot Tub Works online and their tech. support guy Brian. Brian's patience, expertise and tech support service was the aspirin I needed for spa pain relief. I ordered a hot tub cover, we measured very carefully and entered the measurements. I printed off the shopping cart before I ordered, and everything was correct. It took over 3 weeks for delivery, and when the cover came it was way too big! They said they sent me an e-mail confirmation of the order, that I should have checked, but I have the electronic records to prove I did not receive ANY confirmation--only confirmation we got was from PayPal. How refreshing to find a company that does business the "old fashioned" way. From start to finish, my buying experience was first class. The hot tub cover I ordered arrived yesterday and it is beautiful. The craftsmanship is above and beyond my expectations. The delivery company was well within the time frame they had offered. Ordered a hot tub cover through their amazingly user friendly website, two days later received a call from customer service asking if I wanted a longer tie down strap - the measurement I gave seemed short - indeed I did want the longer strap - I measured from the wrong spot. We ordered a new spa cover on July 9th, 2009. We were a little surprised by the time they estimated for delivery in our order confirmation, because they seemed to be stating a much shorter time on the website, however due to the cover being custom made, the time was reasonable.
