Purchased an "Express" screen, "Basic" option for $19.95. Turns out that without extensive underwriting (delay) or an upgrade (additional fee), all I received was an address history. This can be obtained for free through Google. Criminal, eviction, credit history and score all require additional steps and/or payment. Definitely not an express screen! I am a landlord and this past week I paid tenantalert.com for 6 credit checks. This firm emails prospective tenants a link to provide information for a credit check. Unfortunately I discovered the tenant is asked to complete an expansive 50 item questionnaire (including items such as emergency contacts, types of vehicles, etc.).
