My aluminum garage door with a powder coated wood finish has worn/oxidized and looks bad. Door is only 4 yrs old. I kindly called to see if they could come out and have a look. If you like being lied to over and over again then Mesa garage door company is for you. After using them several times I need them to come out to service my garage door. Today is the 4th time Mesa has missed an appointment to install my garage door. They have blamed it on the Holidays, COVID, and door availability. The door is the most basic white door they have. Had a great experience with them 20 years ago. Now, the worst customer service I've ever experienced. First person who showed up for a quote was nearly 2 hours late. When he arrived, he had no interest in selling us a door. He stood in our driveway, asked us for the dimensions of the door he stood in front of, and asked for specific details on the door we wanted. I was scheduled to have garage door installed Wednesday 5-8-2013. I received a call from installer who was at my home. Do not trust these guys they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. They no-showed twice then when they did show up they installed it wrong and it grinds when opening. Do NOT DO business with this company unless you want to be taken advantage of. The worst customer service I have ever received. They over-promise and under-deliver. I had to follow up with them everyday after they delivered me the wrong door and continued to promise me day after day it would be fixed. Our garage door opener was broken so I called Mesa Garage Doors. They sent someone right away and he told me that we need to replace the opener for $750 including labor. He was very persistent to make a sale but the price he quoted was outrageous so I paid the $60 service charge and sent him away. I called another company and they replaced the opener for $180. This company came out(2010/2011) and performed the work. I discovered that the worker had rummaged through my garage and stole items I had packed away to give to my grandchildren. They rearranged my bins/boxes so that it didn't look like anything was missing, but I noticed it right away. The items were sentimental to me as I had saved these items from my daughters childhood. We had a garage door installed by this company. I came home from work to give the installers access to our garage. Shortly after returning to work, I received a call from the installer informing me that he had "accidentally" opened the door to our home, and the alarm was going off. They Do Not Stand Behind There Product. We had a motor malfunction which caused $500 in damages. They are claiming that it is not covered under their so called warranty even though the service technician who came out noted that the motor did not respond in time to prevent the door from being damaged. Highly unprofessional company. They subcontracted our order to someone who could barely speak English and was not properly trained. There was damage to my home and when I called to complain, the office personnel had nothing but attitude. I purchased a home in June 2010. I saw that the garage door was bad shape. I kept hearing about Mesa Garage on KNX 1070am radio. Then decided to check them out. These folks have missed the scheduled install dates 7 times for one reason or another. The first two times they ordered the incorrect door. One time they said their supplier was the problem. Mesa said everything I ordered was in stock...it turned out that none of it was in stock. I am absolutely embarrassed to admit I did business with these yoyo's. I had no problems at all with Mesa Garage Doors. We have one extremely large double door and a single door which required a custom design. They photographed our custom front entry door and then "photoshopped" it to create a similar design for the garage doors. Our final product looks *exactly* like their photoshopped design example! The president of Mesa advertises on TV and on their website that they do complete installation and materials including the door and motor for under $500. It's a typical bait and hook. When they come by they tell you the commercial is to get you to call. The motor alone was $850 and we couldn't afford a new door because that was in the thousands! I ordered a door from Mesa over 8 months ago, the door that came had visual flaws in it and they have not been able to get a proper fitting replacement here ever since. People please! Dwight Esnard is a crook with over one hundred and fifty complaints on the BBB. Why would anyone want to go with Mesa doors, the BBB rates them a B just because they are a member of the BBB, that shows their credibility as well. I had an estimate which went fine. A few days later they called and offered me a lower price. I took the deal. No deposit just paid for the door. I had problems with Mesa that took approx. 7 months before I received my deposit back. The doors were measured incorrectly. I needed work on the frame before the doors could be installed that they did not tell me about. We just had our new garage door installed. That part of our experience went very well. Unfortunately, we were overcharged by $3600 and the accounting department took more than 2 weeks to resolve the problem. The truth is as I write this review the problem has yet to be resolved. We first contacted Mesa Garage Door, Inc in January 2009. It took until June for them to attempt installation the first time. We had multiple cancelled installations the night before the installation was scheduled. They installed a different product than that which we ordered and did not notify us until it was already installed, and the old doors, tracks, openers, were removed and trashed.
