After many years of being with a small hosting company for my websites, I wanted to cut costs and bit and took the plunge to go with InMotion Hosting. In a word: amazing. Not only did I cut my hosting costs to 1/4 what they were previously, but I get a great service to boot. I have been with InMotion Hosting for over a year now and am 100% satisfied with their service. The very few times I have encountered a problem or had a question, their support staff resolved the issues quickly, professionally, and cheerfully. You could do a whole lot worse than InMotion Hosting, but I do not see how you could do much better. And, no, they didn't pay me to say this. But it's never too late ... :D Read More »

A very negative experience with this company! InMotion is absolutely one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They failed to do their job by NOT registering my domain name even after I completed the necessary steps on my end to transfer from my former hosting company. InMotion Hosting has been my host for about a year and a half. I was a complete novice when I began and their customer service has been beyond reproach at every turn. I signed up for a VPS account 4 days ago after a bad experience with web.com as they simply FAILED on all levels to simply fix a .mysql database problem for over 30 days! I've been using InMotion hosting for 9 months. I've had to use their technical support 3 times, usually to ask questions (as opposed to solve problems with their service). Each time I chose to use their online chat option. I can report that each experience was the same. A connection to their technical support within 20 seconds, and a consistent level of experience from each person that helped me. Got a notice the other day that our site was being moved...PANIC! ... but I called the number they provided and it was easy as pie...no interruption noticed. The tech support guy was friendly, clear, and I felt well taken care of. We have been on their servers for a long time and they have always provided great service, there is always someone there when you need them, which is not the case with countless other server providers. I've had a recent support incident with InMotion Hosting. I was happily surprised to have my problem taken care of not in hours, but minutes. Through a the 24hour support chat, I was able to contact the company immediately. The customer rep was very friendly, knowledgeable and fast. On my first day of my new account with InMotion hosting I talked with 3 of their techs, either in chat or on the phone. My problems consisted of problems with a WordPress Blog. This is a wonderful hosting company. I have utilized the technical support chat quite a few times, and I always get the help I need. They are also very quick to respond to emails. We had our server shutdown because they said our server was over utilizing their system but would give us no information as to why they were saying it was over utilizing system. Inmotion Hosting is a company with hi end technology. A few months ago it counted on an excellent 24x7 technical support. Especially the support via chat. Lamentably, for months the company suspended arbitrarily the 24x7 service of chat and email. In order to obtain any answer, it is necessary to wait a lot of hours or the next day. InMotion has got their act together! My customer GrayHawkYoga.com has been very happy with the hosting plan that I recommend. I reviewed over 15 different companies over the course of two weeks. We both enjoy the speed of the server, the easy cPanel, the full instructions, and the fact that they confirm all sign ups and are very professional.
