Dehumidifier died after 13 months, which is within 2 year warranty. Customer Service Rep tells me to send in receipt for refund. Send in receipt and dispose of item. Later notifies me that they need the plug from the unit in order to receive refund. Should have been told this when I asked what I needed to send her originally. I have purchased a portable Air conditioner (KY-36) from one of Soleus Air’s distributors. I am very satisfied with the unit. So I decided to purchase a second unit for my parents. They’ve used that unit for abut 8 months before it started to act up. I’ve contact the warranty department at Soleus Air and they were extremely helpful.
