This has turned out to be yet another disappointing employment opportunity for freelance writers. The site claims that writers may "write on any topic" they want to. It also gives the impression that when you are sending in your application and writing sample, that you are applying to become part of the team--in other words that, like an agency, you will be added to the team of "thousands" of writers if you have good qualifications. Any writer considering joining eHow to make a residual income should read the eHow member's forum first. There have been chronic technical bugs resulting in payment problems, unanswered questions for months about whether eHow pays writers for articles they copy to their new UK site (which is all of them), and numerous other complaints and unresolved issues.
