I've been robbed by a member of Eharm and after submitting a police report I provided it to Eharm, but they kept the thieving female and ignored my police report about her.

I'm a straight male. HIGHLY COMPATIBLE match! Months after I asked them top remove this ridiculous "match" and profile I found it still intact and available! Eharm = Con Artists and Criminals!

I received many of the same types of me even though I never chose to communicate with them. I did have some men who matched my specifications or who lived within the travel miles I signed up for. I think they tried to fulfill my specifications but after less than three months I wanted to end the contract as I did not even email or contact any of the men they sent me to view.
Then I moved back to Massachusetts and have been trying to change my area... Read More »

Melissa posted a review

eHarmony continued to charge my credit card after my three month membership expired, however I specifically declined automatic renewal when I signed up. This amounts to a violation of the contract, plain and simple. Now I have to begin arbitration in order to receive a refund because of their fraudulent billing practices. Read More »

B. I then contacted eHarmony by phone three times. Each time I was read a script telling me to look at the person's 'personality' despite the fact that they were too far away from my state.
I then asked to have the account closed, each time I did so I was read another script telling me to give it a shot.
By day 21 I was frustrated and demanded the account be closed at which point I... Read More »

pgood33605 posted a review

I tried eHarmony on 3 seperate occassions and much to my disappointment nothing came of the experience except a huge waste of time and a lightening of my pocketbook. They are totally not committed to helping anyone find true love, what they are comitted to is emptying you pocketbook. Once you finally get online and start receiving matches, the ones you do receive are in no way compatible with you. Most don't have photos posted and the ones who do are in a relationship already, or live too far away to have any kind of relationship with. So you waste your money for a service that you cannot use. The people that it matched me with were not at all my type. Most of the people were too old or very overweight. I met a couple of people for which their compatibility scores showed we were matches and it was so far off base I will never use eharmony again. The ones that I would have considered never responded to my initial attempts to communicate.

In addition, like many other online dating sites there are several scammers who... Read More »

jm posted a review

I signed up for one month ($60.00) but did not know that most of the matches were no longer subscribers. I didnt figure this out until I sent an email through their help system, asking directly if they match with non subscribers. The answer was indirect, stating that everyone starts as a non subscriber and "quickly" become members once they are matched. This email diversion technique really bothered me. I canceled the service immediately and put the reason for canceling because they were not... Read More »

Mira posted a review

I signed up for this service and first off, it seems like hardly any of the people on the site are paying members... so I forked out the money for a three month membership and in that time I actually only was able to communicate with one local man, who had already met someone by the time we were matched up and so we closed the communication.
Now, in an attempt to get some value from the experience (my membership has expired), I signed up for the "free Valentines weekend" where it's supposedly... Read More »

Persephone posted a review

I joined eHarmony because I heard that it was a web site where serious daters go, and that they screened their people and guaranteed matches. I was (am) in my forties, and the pickings get pretty slim at this age. Anyway, I took their test. I thought the results did not sound like me, but oh well. Anyway, I didn't get ANY nibbles for the first month. My ten-years-younger friend was getting quite a few, so I decided to conduct my own experiment. I created a profile of me, with everything the s... Read More »

amber_kat posted a review

I can't think of anything that really stands out as a positive thing. eHarmony.com tries to match members as being highly compatible. However, they do not give advance notice that they will be charging your credit card when it's time to renew. They will send out a notice that they have charged it on the day that they do it. However, if you want to cancel, they will not crdit your card with a refund.

The men then immediately start telling you how much they love you and you are the one for them. I would chalk this up to disfunctional but the patterns are very much the same.
