Peoplemedia Sucks! I'm sorry but it's true! I have been a paying subscriber to Senior People Meet and to single Parents meet since the first of the year. During that time I have been hacked three 3 times. The sites don't seem to care and will not answer messages to them regarding this problem. I have to say I thought that this website was pretty good at first. Then I read one of the disclosure statements about scams being run from the people who have signed up on this web-site people who say they live in the sates and are actually supposedly working in another place. I had several people show an interest in my profile and it is mighty funny and coincidental that all of the people except for one spouse died in a car accident two years ago and they just happen to be in Nigeria on bus... Very suspicious. The only letters I received seem all alike. I got no responses to any of my inquiries to so-called members asking if they were happy using this site. I am wondering if all the photos and letters supposedly sent to the consumer are a type of "form letter", from a non-existent person, designed to keep people dangling. Trying to contact this company is near to impossible. I joined one of their online dating services and had trouble accessing my account. When clicking on the link to reset my password (even though I knew what it was)I was told an email would be sent with my correct password. This never happened. I then clicked on the link to contact their customer care and emailed them my issue. I am concerned this is a legitimate business. Three of us have tried to use credit cards to upgrade to a paid subscription but all of us have had all our credit cards declined which makes me wonder. When contacted the company responded they are a web-based company that can not take payments by phone and do not supply contact numbers. This just seems strange for a real business to have such poor customer service. Read More »
