I had experienced with Express Plumbing and they trapped me to authorized replacing the piping system, the pipes going to the main sewer. They said they will do everything including getting city permits. I was forced to pay their bill for $25K and unable to get other estimates from rooter company. They are very offensive and promised that they will help me process claims form issuance company.The bottom line was, I got no reimbursement from insurance company, I have to make a loan just to pay... I found Express Plumbing & Rooter after a late night backed up sewer line issue. I elected to have them come out first thing in the morning the next day. The technician showed up right at 8am as they said he would. The Technician (Jose) was very professional, clean & experienced plumber. I'm a general contractor, I'm in the service industry. I've never experienced practices like this. What a gigantic waste of time. I have a sick kid, house guests, a backed up line and I wasted the whole day by making the mistake of calling this company. Fantastic service, Arin is a true professional. I discovered a clogged drain that was backing up in my house. I made a call and within 45 mins to a hour Arin from Express Plumbing & Rooter was at our door and ready to do the job. His prices are fair and he is very detailed. There was sewage overflowing front of my house. I didn't know who to call, my neighbor suggested Express Plumbing & Rooter. So I checked the Internet and found they have a good reputation in Los Angeles. When I called Express Plumbing & Rooter who answered the phone was very professional. Express Plumbing responded to a call regarding a malfunctioning residential sewage ejection system causing effluent to pour out of the sump onto the garage floor and out to the street creating a potential health risk. It fell to Juan to be the bearer of bad tidings that my problem was neither quick nor simple. They will over charge you! They came to unplug a toilet, and ended up replacing things we didn't need to. They intially said it was going to cost $9000.00 and it was a sewer line issue. Pipes where plugged and they couldn't snake. They ended up jack hammering up slab floors and having a power jetting job to flush the whole house. They advertise rooting service for $45.00 when you call if you do not mention that you saw the $45.00 ad they will charge you more (that is first attempt) Then when we mentioned the $45.00 they said they will honor that. We specifically asked the lady to make sure we do not get a bait and switch tactic. She told us that as long as there is a clean-out available that will be the price. So far, my experience has been very poor. Having had several different figures thrown around, we settled for 1744. after digging for 1 hour, the price suddenly jumped up to 2700.$ Most of the information given to me was refuted the next day. We tried to cancel the contract, but the salesman was put on the phone to bully us. We were treated like we were stupid, instead of like paying customers.
