I ordered a Halloween dress and I told the lady over the phone that I needed it sent out by FedEx and not USPS because my carrier is not reliable. The lady said it was being sent out by FedEx . I ordered 2 bras and a shirt from them in June. It took a while to get my order but I accepted that as I'm in Canada. The shirt didn't fit well but I can make alterations to make it work. The bras offered zero support. I could have taped kleenex together and it been more useful so I sent them back. I never heard anything about a refund or anything so I called. I paid extra for rush shipping. Four business days later it had still not shipped. I called and was told it would ship that day. It did not. It shipped the next day. Five business days is not rush shipping. When it arrived it was the wrong size. The tag also looked like someone had sent the shorts back as it was torn and had black markings on it. BEWARE! Although this company claims they want you to be delighted with your purchase, their Return Policy WILL NOT CREDIT YOUR PAYMENT CARD for any items sold at "sale price". When my first order arrived and the material was transparent, I contacted customer service and asked if the darker colors such as black and red were transparent also. I was told no. So I was issued a store credit and exchanged and even bought another garment based on what turned out to be their lies. The dark colors are also see-through. The tank bathing suit top and shorts bottom are nicely made, and good fabric in the heavy weight choice. I'd give those five stars (but have not swam with it yet). Too bad the fabric for the knit tops is pure crap. Construction, sizing and style is good, but these tops are not wearable in public. I found sanctuarie designs by accident when looking for a size 7x dress for my maid of honor. I ordered a beautiful purple dress with a rhinestone design on the chest. I received the dress in about a week. When I got I it, the rhinestones where missing completely. I called the company and was instructed to mail it back and they souls fix it and get it back to me before my wedding which was two weeks away. We ordered bridesmaid dresses at a local shop here in Duluth for my best friends wedding, and 3 days before they were supposed to be ready, we got a call from the store, and not only were they not coming on time, they were going to be delayed for 3 to 4 more weeks! I am planning a wedding and getting a dress is part of that. Dont order anything from Sanctuarie Designs unless you have money to waste! The material of the dress was cheap, ugly not sparkling like they say online. The customer service was terrible,and the owner was too. Their policy is we will find any way to keep your money. I ordered two items from this company. I got an email when I placed the orders, and that's it. I haven't heard anything since then. It's been 2 weeks and no shipping confirmation, or any communication whatsoever. I'm going to call on Monday to see what's up, but I hate having to do that. Wow, are you kidding me? I just got my second order from them, I actually just got 3 *custom made* dresses, in plus size, for under a hundred bucks! And I got the exact things I wanted! Theres nothing worse than finding a dress online, and 'wishing' that it had longer sleeves, or had a v-neck, etc. I have no idea how they stay in business doing custom made clothes at those prices - but hoo-ray! The first time I ordered with this company was for Halloween 2010... I needed my items by a specific date and I had made a mistake putting my shipping address as my billing address... I looooooooooooooove this store! I initially saw the "Plus Size Clothing Outlet" sign while driving an my way back from work. I really needed a new pants, so I went in to check it out. As a plus size woman, it is fairly difficult for me to find clothes that fit me right. Some store charge a TON of extra money for bigger sizes. I have been shopping at Sanctuarie for years because they sell nice, well-made plus size clothing at affordable prices. Sanctuarie Designs is the most unethical business I have ever had the displeasure of running accross. Shipping charges are inflated so that the owner can profit. You will never receive your order the way that you requested it. If you are looking for a refund, you can forget it. And, Jackie is never there to handle anything. I am having a hard time getting a refund for a shirt they can not deliver. It has been over 6 weeks and my emails and calls to Jackie (manager/owner) and staff fall on deaf ears.
