I signed up online (from the Fandango site) for the "free" trial size kit. I understood that all I had to pay was the $4.99 shipping fee. I provided my debit card # and on 9/29/11 $4.99 was debited from my account. On 10/10/11 I received my trial size kit but was not happy with the makeup. I ordered their trial in October of 2010. You are supposed to have 30 days to return it. The date on the order is AFTER the 30 days and then when you go to cancel it your first "real shipment" will have gone out. They charge you $29.95 plus $7.95 for shipping for the first order. The first shipment supposedly went out on 11/24 and was supposedly delivered on December 3, which as of now I still have not received. I have ordered Sheer Coverage in the past..it is a scam; they charge your account for the next 3-4 months unless you tell them not to.. I was charged 12/6 on my account and have not received the product..I called the company and they said it could take 2-3 weeks for me to receive the product..that's great but DO NOT take money out of my account for a purchase I have not received...I do like the product.However, I will go to the mall to get another mineral make-up. When I decided to customize my kit, the trouble started. First of all, they charged me for the 7 new items I chose AS WELL AS the regular kit I had gotten in the past that I did not want this time. This doubled my charge. I PURCHASED AND TRIED THIS PRODUCT AND WAS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. IN MY OPINION THE REGULAR MINERAL POWDER FROM THE STORE IS BETTER. ALSO THE CONTAINERS WERE VERY SMALL. The BBB is a Great Place to Start but you can file a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Comm) and get something done about the way this company does business. The FTC will FINE THEM and Drag them through the mudd to get this resolved. This is a CLEAR BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM. They Promise a trial for a very cheap price and make no mention of the money that will be taken from your bank account at the time of purchase. I ordered the trial kit, used and was not too impressed. However I was surprised when a month later I received another kit and was informed via email that I was going to be charged $90 + for the three month supply. I am not sure how that happened since I ordered a trial kit. They do make it confusing on purpose. I have now been using Sheer Cover for about a year and love their product. Since using it I have gotten many others to use it as well; however, in the last year I, and the others, have had one problem after another with this company. The problems have ranged from: shippments taking an unusually long time to arrive, shippments never making it to us and then having to reorder and fight the charges of the original order, to being sent to collections with out any knowledge of still owing the comp... I saw an advertisement on the TV about a 30 day trial for only $30 so I went online to order. I received my shipment and on my invoice I noticed that I had another shipment in 4 weeks,which i did not want. So I called customer service and they stated that I signed up for the 90 trial and that she could cancel the membership. I called after watching an infomercial. The person taking my order kept pressuring for more than I wanted to order and was so confusing that when she recapped my order it was for $90/3mos supply, not the trial package I wanted. I watched the Sheer Cover infomercial and ordered the starter kit on June 19,2007. It arrived within a few days and I loved the makeup. Then I ordered from the "Create-A-Kit" online. Weeks and weeks went by. I kept asking them when it would arrive as I was out of make up. Sheer Cover kept saying they were "out of stock." 2 Months and I still have not received my order. They have been sending me my order piece by piece as its in stock. 2 Months and I have only actually received 1 item.
