Ask for Carrie! You won't be disappointed. She is trustworthy, dedicated, and professional. From the first conversation I had with Mindy regarding a refinance with the VA, she gave me the assurance that it could be done. We just completed our closing in exactly 21 days which is exactly what Carrie told us would happen. Carrie made the process very easy, she responds to emails, phone calls, or text messages almost instantly, doesn't get frustrated with mistakes made on our end (like forgetting to sign), and is very professional. I cannot thank Randy Van Orden enough. He is a miracle worker. He helped me with my re-fi and just recently was able to get my PMI removed (saving me $328 a month - thank goodness). My loan officer at Tri-Emerald, Peter Carlin, said he could complete the process quickly and would keep me informed very step of the way. He did exactly that. The loan closed quickly, he kept me informed of the process regularly, and I had a number and email to contact him. His responses were always quick. My experience with Tri-Emerald Financial Group was not a good one on the whole. From day one they lagged in getting paperwork processed and blamed me for most of the delays. Scott and his team were on top of everything. If I had a question I would just shoot him an email or a text and I always got a response within 5 minutes. Although they probably had many clients, they always made me feel like I was number one priority. My loan was approved and funded without any set backs.
