Ive been driving a lexus for a while now, in fact we have had 5 lexus's in the past 20 years and all of them leased or bought from here. Now I can understand the economy is bad but these guys were trying to cheat me into getting a new car. They quoted me one price and when I got there to sign on the dotted line I was surprised by the new price I was about to sign for. Lexus Santa Monica: Don't buy a car there or one that has been serviced there!! I purchased this car because 1) Carfax showed CLEAN records of service from Lexus Santa Monica and 2)I spoke with Mike Carter, Service Advisor, at Lexus Santa Monica and he told me "we've only done oil changes and routine recalls on this vehicle". I asked him specifically "Do you show any problem with the engine, the transmission, any problems at all?" He said, "NO, NONE." His statements matched with CARFAX. I th... Read More »
