Pretty sure some of the 5 stars reviews are their own folks - use them at your own risk. the only database vendor (vendor refer to company or agency not freelancer) that required weekly chaser for an answer. poor pre and during the project servicing like they are not exactly keen to take on your project at all. Callbox did there jobs in getting me appointments and leads. My biggest concern was quality control and the language barrier they may be with a company calling from outside the US calling US clients. Callbox called me unsolicited and proceeded to send 40-50 spam emails over the next 12 months from various well hidden aliases. I received the hard sell and made the mistake of giving them my email address for more info. Within a week I was bombarded by spam emails from several Callbox related sources, all offering lead generation. I was surprised to see that a lot a people were dissatisfied with Callbox. My experiences have been just the opposite. While I understand that appointments are the hardest part of sales, they have set up calls with interested prospects that have turned out a $300,000 proposal and a few smaller ones. This review will echo others but after my initial inquiry, I was contacted by an argumentative sale rep who said if getting results is what I am after then I don't need Telemarketing and why don't my salespeople do this. We have used Callbox many times over the years and at first they did a good job on lead generation and appointment setting. The last two times we used them they were terrible. They over promise and under deliver. We canceled our last campaign which was appointment setting halfway through the engagement. I received an email introducing the service. When I responded the person who emailed me said she would have a representative call me with details. No details of their services were given to me at the time. The same day (but I couldn't take the call) and then the next day the rep called me. Their junior executive called, we fixed up a time for 10:00 am next morning. I blocked my calender and then received no call at all. They called me at 3:00pm and when I asked about the 10:00am appointment, a ridiculous answer came out "I was busy with another client". I was initially interested in their "marketing consulting" services but after hearing that it was just telemarketing, I politely told Sam, the representative, that I was not interested but thanks. CallBox Inc promised 15-20 appointments within 22 days of contract starting. They did not setup one appointments and yet don’t want to refund money. When called them to dispute charge, they say that they don't promise any appointments, but their contract says that the service is for telemarketing and appointment settings. Callbox has been bothering me for 2 years now, first via repeated phone calls, and then via repeated emails using a variety of emails sources including Gemail, callboxsalesandmarketing.com, callboxinc.com, onlineglobalsupport.com and apacsolutions.com. Callbox is the most annoying company I have ever known! Despite multiple requests to be removed from their list, I get multiple calls from them each week and sometimes per day. I have used Callbox for about six months and have been pleased with their services. Once you are able to accurately define what you need and your target market they can make a significant impact in reaching that market. In addition the CRM system is easy to use and the comments made by callbox staff are very helpful. I would recommend this service. We signed up with them in May of 2012 for 6 guaranteed appointments. They offered originally 10 for $2,400, but I wanted a cheaper package to get my feet wet. Originally they estimated 2-3 weeks to complete the campaign. It might be my city (Las Vegas), but it took them about 2 months. Because the appointments were guaranteed, I only paid what was in the contract. This company is a joke! Their initial telemarketer did a fairly good job of explaining their service and when I expressed interest he transfered me to his "boss". I find it hard to have respect for a company that calls you more than once a month even after you continually tell them you are not interested. These people clearly seem to tun their business on harassing potential customers into agreeing to their services. Ask them for references? They wont give them to you. Try to get someone on the phone (Good Luck) This is an over seas sweat shop with bad phone connections. I was promised 10 leads for $800. I got 6 leads and only three of them were even close to what I needed to grow my business. When asked 3 months later where my 4 leads were this lady Wenelyn told me there were no guarantees. We have been receiving emails and calls from Callbox since May this year trying to sell their services to us to which we have politely replied "no thank you" as we have an in house marketing team. Since May, we have received 2-4 calls a month plus spam emails, each time a different employee. I received another call today (now September) which was the last straw. I spoke with one of their Junior Executives and I said I'd like to know more about their services. The Junior Executive Jeff, who didn't really sound well and has a very bad accent and talks like he is murmuring, transferred the call to Kate Cordova. Callbox as done an excellent job for us, we have closed their leads and have several more in the pipeline. Many of these new leads were some we did not have in our database.
