The Instyler is an expensive gimmick! It burns your hair off and gives you split ends other than that it works about the same as any other straightner BUT it is awkward to use and takes time to figure it out. It doesn't last very long (2-3 months) of daily use and it breaks. I had 2 it was a buy one get one free both not only broke but a slip of the hand and I burned myself. We ordered the product in March and are very satisfied with the product and the timely manner we received the product. However after we ordered the product we received a call from there company verifying shipment and cross selling us on free trials to two other membership programs. On Jan 31, I was searching online for the Instyler. I found it for the discounted price of $54.99 and immediately bought it. It ordinarily costs a total of $99.95. There was some problem with the place order page, so I checked my bank account online and saw there was a charge for $14.99. On September 3, 2009 I visited the company’s website to purchase their product the Instyler. This company is selling a rotating cylinder brush curling iron. It is an ok item but not nearly worth the money they are charging for it. The customer service absolutely stinks. They are not forthcoming with info when they are trying to make a sale. Don't dare try to return the item, they come up with all sorts of charges for you. The Instyler is a SCAM! After my husband inquired about the product, they contacted him at least 10 times over a 3 day period (even though he did not supply a contact number). This company is a bogus, dirty, rotten company. A bunch of rip off artists. I bought the instyler used it a few times, got no better results than my flat iron so I dug out the box and returned it to the address on the box since it came with no paperwork. SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!! I also fell trap to the additional charges. The product does not do what they claim at all and it gets dangerously hot enough to burn or start a fire. I called the toll free number for "Instyler" to get additional information. I decided the product was too expensive and I wasn't interested. The company called me 10 times the following week as a "follow up". This company is a fraud, the product never gets sent, the tracking number is not valid, and the charge is double what is advertised. I have been charged over 200.00 for a product that I have not recieved, which has ruined my checking account because it was not the amount advertised. Watch Out - very costly transaction! For the 30 day trial I was charged $14.99 but in less than two weeks my account was charged an additional $61.64. I called the company (had to hold 32 minutes). Complete scam artists. I can't get them to quit billing me for a product I never recieved. I call them, do all they require and I get billed all over again. Guess this is one way to get business.
