Bait & switch. Dishonest. Very poor business practices. Seniors especially should beware. Nothing they said or promised was accurate and everything that went wrong required more money to fix on heating ac system. Now having trouble with warranty repair on 3 month old system. You women that had great experiences with these guys didn't even leave reasons why, so I think your reviews are fake or your lonely and just wanted some one to talk nice to you while they rip you off! These guys are crooks and up-sell as much as possible. We called them for the $89 duct cleaning flyer but its only up to 8 vents, we have 11 so each additional vent is $19.95 but they don't tell you that till they are at your house, so there is $60 extra add right away. I have actually had my air ducts cleaned in the past and it was such a horrible experience that I did not want to do it again. However it was time I called a new company.Luckily I found Z Ducts! I cannot understand why there are so many negative reviews about Z Ducts. After dealing with them, I have nothing bad to say. First off, their customer service was top notch. They really made me feel like helping me out was the most important thing in the world. They sent a technician out to my house THE NEXT DAY! Usually I have to wait weeks to make appointments. The people at Z Ducts are extremely easy to work with. They make sure they understand what I want and that I understand what they are doing. Both sides understanding the job makes it really easy to work. Once I had spoken to them, they were at my house the next day. I was a little weary to work with them after reading some of the reviews below, but my worries were gone after the fist phone call.I spoke with a technician named Sean and he explained everything I need to know before going through with the service. I've been looking to get my Ducts cleaned for a while now, but didnt know where to go. I called a couple places, but I wasn't too impressed by the customer service. I gave Z Ducts a call and I was really satisfied with the way I was treated. The best way to describe Z Ducts would be friendly! I gave them a call and I felt extremely comfortable from the get go. I did not really know what the benefits were of air duct cleaning before, but afterwards I felt like an expert. I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. After reading the other reviews on this site, I could not disagree more. My experience with Z DUCTS was FANTASTIC. There was absolutely nothing I could complain about. Customer service was great! Unprofessional people working at this company. The woman who makes the appts was the worst of them. I called and asked for the $24.95 deal advertised. She made appt and when I asked if I would be charged if they couldn't clean the ducts she said yes for the time they came to inspect the vents. I could kick myself for not reading the reviews on this company before I had work done. What was supposed to be a simple duct cleaning turned out costing me over $2200! Being woman I feel that I was taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge of my HVAC and ducts. Sean was my technician and he did a great job of explaining the need for a more efficient air duct system. When Sean came to my house and found all the damage to my old ducts, I was surprised to hear that all that air is basically being wasted on my attic! After Sean explained what getting new ducts can do for my home's cooling and heating and for my energy bills, I had no reason to say no. I was looking to get my Air Ducts cleaned and decided to go with Zducts. Upon reading many reviews i became scared and decided to call the company and ask why there are so many mixed reviews. I had set up an appointment on 12-15-11 with Zducts to clean my air ducts, and they did a fast and Great Job! I am very satisfied with their professional and knowledgeable technicians. They did what they came to do and gave me an inspection of my system, pointing out things I didn't know needed to be taken care of. Heed My warning, I had z-ducts come out today and it was the worst experience I ever encountered --guaranteed. The job started off at 29.95 for 8 vents basic suction and 16.50 for each additional vent. Then it went to 99.95 to rotor clean 8 vents and 60.00 for each additional vent. I asked said why so much for the additional vents? He said because we wash the vent grills. I had the detailed internal air duct cleaning package for $129. After the technician was done cleaning it, he then stated to me that I needed to clean the overall internal system otherwise cleaning the air duct would be pointless because the internal system would turn dirty again once the furnace is used again. If I could give 0 stars, I would! Z Ducts lied to me and tried to scare me into having work done on my home that is not necessary. I could have spent almost $3000 on something that is going to cost me less than $300. I called Zducts Inc to get my air ducts cleaned for $40. The technician came out and said I had holes in the ducts and they would rip if they cleaned them and that I need to replace all the duct work. They wanted $5500 to replace 14 vents and install 2 more vents with R6 ducts that have some polymer material inside and fiberglass on the outside so rats can't chew into the ducts.
