At this time do not purchase an extended Warranty Insurance policy with this company. I am still waiting for my refund check of $399.00. The cancellation paper arrived in their office July 21, 2012. I bought a warranty. I cancelled the warranty due to my son being in a car accident on 6-7-12 and sent the letter and called on 6-14-12. It is now 9-25-12 and I am still waiting on my refund. They told me it took 45-60 business days which was up on 9-10-12 and still no money but on-line on there website it states a person will have a refund in 45 days. I sent a complaint letter after 2 claims had been turned down. On 4/13/12, I sold my vehicle and requested a cancellation refund from AW Autopro. I faxed them the documents they requested and they told me it could take 45-60 business days to receive a refund. I paid $2,476.00 for the extended warranty and never made a claim with the company. Today is 8/1/12 and I have never received a refund from AW Autopro. I talked to a rep and her supervisor (i wish i could remember her name, i feel bad) the other day, and I have to say that I never understood why other companies made me feel like i had to get something so soon without giving me any good reasons. This is the most unsavory company I have ever dealt with. I was told that I could have 30 days to review the policy and 60 days if I used my Am Ex to secure payments. I have had 3 warranties on my past veh's from other companies without a single problem when a warranty claim was initiated by the dealership. My contract was canceled on October 10, 2011 and I was not contacted of this. When the payment was not taken from my bankaccount I contacted them and was advised it had been canceled. When I inquired about a refund I was advised that even though refund checks are typically sent out with in 30 days, because it is "the holidays" it is taking up to 60 days and that I could expect to receive my refund check within 60 days. The administrator for A W Autopro canceled my contract without notification and A W Autopro is taking a very long time to refund my money. If I had not called a few weeks after faxing documentation of a mileage discrepancy I would not have known the contract had been canceled. They claimed the refund would take 30 days. Just like Dan C. and Laura F., I felt the pressure was a tad too much. I was pretty taken by the professionalism of the first contact. I do NOT recommend doing business with this company. High-pressure sales tactics from the start where money is demanded upfront; the sales transaction left a bad taste in my mouth. Scam artists! I was sold a policy over the phone and they never sent a written one. I asked for it twice when finally Paul Hill sent it to my e-mail. That is when I noticed that this contract was nothing like the one I agreed to on the phone. I have been trying to cancel (still within the cancellation period) but it seems to me they want drag it outside of the 60 days. I never went as far as committing, but I would be VERY wary of dealing with any company that a) gets to the money line as a last resort and b) is unknown but expects you to pay at the first contact. I had the pleasure of working with Alan Browne at AW to get my 2008 Explorer set up with a warranty. As always, Access Warranty's associates are great to work with. I have never felt any pressure when setting up a warranty and they really know their stuff. Worst company ever!!! I sent my letter of cancellation, my mileage statement from the auto dealership and a notarized mileage notice via certified mail, which was received by Access on 12/15/10. I was told that it would take 8 weeks to process the refund & 4 weeks to mail the check - come on, does only one person work there that it takes 12 weeks to receive a refund. I was quoted 6 years by Anna McDaniel's and spent a lot of time on the phone with her! When all was said and done she turned me over to the verification department and when the person read what I was getting back and what I would be charged it was 5 years not 6 and I said no way as I was told I had a up grade to 6 years and 20,000 more miles for a total of 100,000 more!
